It wasn’t a positive start for The Finder at all. It lost nearly 30% from its Bones lead-in in the demo and could only beat The CW’s Secret Circle in the timeslot. When compared with other FOX scripted shows, The Finder’s season average only beats Fringe on Friday nights. Even the already cancelled Allen Gregory performed better.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Finder TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a second season?

This is a great, entertaining show, not just another run of the mill police procedural or unreal reality show. Please give this show another chance…great actors and interesting storylines. There is nothing like it on the air…
Why do these networks keep cancelling the great shows?! I really like The Finder. The new time slot is terrible, but I still DVR it. It is popular with our whole family. Would love for Fox to leep this one.
Looking forward to seeing the next show and hope it might be brought back for yet another season..it is, for us, a breath of fresh air.
like most networks they don’t give shows enough time to develop if it don’t come out with big numbers from the get go its gone The Finder is a great show but fox wants it dead so its put on Friday night death slot fox stop acting stupid an give this show a chance
I have been posting here to save this show since I watched the first episode . It needs to be on USA tho. They would pair it with Psych on Wednesday nights and it would get the ratings. Fox has no faith in this show and wants it gone. The moved it to the Friday night death slot.
Sadly I have grown used to Fox cancelling shows that were great ideas, unique even but needed a bit of time to develop word of mouth following. Too often now new shows are expected be mega-hits, forgetting that many of the most popular shows took a season, sometimes two, to find their feet and rack up the numbers they are hoping for.
Looooooovveeeee this show, give it a chance Fox, PROMOTE it a bit and ppl will watch
Great show! Different from anything on tv, please please do t cancel, no more reality shows!!
My husband & I both enjoy The Finder. We are in our mid 60’s & 70. But our son & his wife just started watching & told us they just found a new show they really like. Now they are 40 & late 40’s. So you seen show hits quite a few age groups. And I hate reality shows.
This show must be getting tivoed by allot of people. I think it needs to be moved to wed to get its numbers back. I think this is a grest show and should get a 2nd series.
Great cool show I agree we do need good t.v to watch, not another “reality” show.
me and my son love watching the finder
Great funny show, very different. Hope it stays on. We need good tv to watch.
Loved this idea on Bones, continue to love the quirky characters and plot lines. Hope it is given time to develop a bigger following. I have been telling friends about it and they have also enjoyed it and become fans.
The show and the cast are terrific. Probably too great for American viewers as they seem to prefer trash like those Kardashian tramps. The good shows always get canceled so if you like this show, you know what’s coming..
