If you’ve been waiting to learn the fate of Matt Passmore’s TV show, The Glades, you can rest easy. A&E has just renewed the drama for a third season. The new episodes will air next summer.
The cable series’ audience reportedly grew by 12% in the 18-49 demographic between seasons one and two.
The sophomore season of The Glades finished airing in early September and averaged nearly four million viewers each week.
What do you think? Are you glad to hear The Glades will be back for a third season? How do you think this series compares to other dramas on basic cable?
I agree with Bryan, you should advertise that it will be coming back on the air. I love this show but had to research myself to make sure it was renewed. It is a good show but there is too much time inbetween seasons.
I am so very excited to hear The Glades has been renewed for a 3rd season!!! Having only discovered Matt Passmore through this series, he is now on my watch list. And, while I hate having to wait till next summer, I know it will be worth the wait!!!
I am so happy hear that The Glades will be back for a third season. I love this show and Matt Passmore!
Glad to see that this show will be back in Season 3….while you are at it pick up cancelled series Memhis Beat from TNT….also, you should ADVERTISE that Glades will be coming back. Both series are well written, different, and light-hearted with likable characters and no fould lingo!
Then don’t watch it and let the people that do enjoy it!!!
One of the worst shows ever aired. What makes it so bad is that I heard great comments; I watched almost every episode of the first season and not one episode stood out to make it superior to any of the other cop shows. The star of the show is annoying and not funny; the female interest is even more annoying than he is. Dont even get me started about the romantic chemistry that I am supposed to feel or rather dont feel about the two characters. “I dont feel it!” I simply feel I’ve seen it done before only… Read more »
Made my day when I read that it was coming back for another season!!!
Very enjoyable show, but hate the character portrayed by Kiele Sanchez. She is a real whiner and a poor actress. I thought it might be the fault of the writers and directors, but she played the same whiny character in Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe.
It is time for Matt Passmore to move on and get a supportive girlfriend. She is way too annoying.
Part of me had really figured that they weren’t going to renew it for a 3rd season because it had been so much time between the finale.
With that said I’m very happy to know that one of the really good “Summer” shows will be returning.
This is a great show and I am REALLY HAPPY it is returning for season 3.
So happy this will be back for another season. May it continue coming back each year.
I am thrilled…I LOVE THIS SHOW AND I LOVE MATT PASSMORE….
Very glad to see it return for another season! Must say I thought first season was a bit better but the second season was very enjoyable also.
one of my favorite shows so I’m very happy to hear it’ll be back for Season 3
Better than some of the shows on the major networks honestly. I really wonder if like The Closer or Monk would have made it as long as they did on the major networks. My prediction is this: in the next 10 years NBC and Fox will be gone. They cancel too many shows and because of that less and less people take a chance watching their shows. So I think in time networks like FX, TNT, USA, A&E and those other networks will rise up and really get noticed. Granted this one is another cop show, but it’s still got… Read more »
You have to put AMC in that category as well. The FX dramas in my opinion are far and away some of the best that have ever been on TV.
