The summer is over and so is The InBetween TV show on NBC. The drama series, which ran from May until August, has been cancelled and won’t be returning for season two next year.
A psychic police procedural, The InBetween stars Harriet Dyer, Paul Blackthorne, Justin Cornwell, Anne-Marie Johnson, Cindy Luna, Chad James Buchanan, Andres Joseph, Michael B. Silver, and Sean Bulger. The paranormal drama centers on Cassie Bedford (Dyer), who is gifted with abilities she often considers a curse. Cassie has unbidden visions of events past and future and is also approached by spirits who need her help in some way. She gets drawn into the cases her foster father, Seattle Police detective Tom Hackett (Blackthorne), works with his new partner, former FBI profiler and LAPD detective Damien Asante (Cornwell).
The first season of The InBetween averaged a 0.40 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.57 million viewers. Of the peacock network’s seven summer series, The InBetween ranked in last place in the demo and nearly last place in viewers (just about Hollywood Game Night).
The show’s 10th and final episode aired on August 14th and left fans with a cliffhanger that seems unlikely to be resolved.

I loved this show!! So sad it has not been renewed. All the good shows are cancelled. So tired of reality shows or who’s the next big whatever! Who cares!

I loved this show, I have been looking for season 2 for a months! I am really disappointed that yet again another great show has been canceled for “ratings”. If you want accurate ones try including Netflix and Hulu watchers. Not everyone has local channels, cable, or satellite. In my area they never come in clear and apps like Hulu and Netflix are a lot more affordable.
I really LOVED the show. As usual you get wrapped up in a show only to find out that is got cancelled. I was waiting to set my DVR for the Season Premiere.
Maybe you should reconsider your decision as this summer with Covid 19 there will be a lot more people at home on social isolation!! Sad that it was not renewed for a second season.:(

What? Are you kidding me? So sad to hear that, my twin and I were watching out for season 2 and I guess it’s not going to happen. Heartbroken

I really enjoyed this show. I was looking forward for the new season to begin. Can’t you try again. You tried the show when people are outside for the summer. Fall and winter would be best

I loved this show & was very excited awaiting season 2. I’m extremely disappointed now knowing there isn’t going to be one. I just don’t get it!
I LOVED this show.. Seems like every time a good show comes on, it last 1 season & leaves you hanging for more. Then to be replaced by way to many reality crap that only some people like which I’m not one that likes reality. I like drama that has wanting to watch more of. So disappointed.

I hate that they cancelled the show. . Networks are so quick to cancel shows now. There are so many out there that it’s hard for the viewers to see them all right away. . That’s why I think it’s important for them to give them two to three seasons before they cancel. This show had so much potential. I loved it. Not Netflix they always pick up shows, do six episodes. Rush the ending and cancel them. They don’t seem to have the writing staff to carry on another person’s work. They are never as good when picked up by them.
