TV show description:
Toby Logan (Craig Olejnik) is a young paramedic who has a secret. He’s also a telepath who’s managed to keep his extraordinary ability hidden. He explores its possibilities only with his long-time mentor and confidant, Dr. Ray Mercer (Colm Feore).
Responding to calls with his paramedic partner, energetic Osman “Oz” Bey (Ennis Esmer), Toby uses his ability to help people in crisis. In the process, he also tries to unravel the truth about his own enigmatic past.
While his professional life is in check, Toby’s personal life could use some rescuing of its own. With the help of Detective Charlie Marks (Lisa Marcos) and his ex-girlfriend, E.R. doctor Olivia Fawcett (Mylène Dinh-Robic), Toby realizes his gift can help others in more ways than he imagined.

Secrets from Toby’s (Craig Olejnik) past are finally brought to light. Also Michelle (Lauren Lee Smith), Toby, and Dev (Rainbow Sun Francks) find themselves in the extremely uncomfortable position of investigating their own boss. On clandestine orders from Judge Samuel Griffin (Bruce Gray) and Deputy Commissioner Earl Bamford (Brian Paul) of the IIB, the team must look into Becker’s (Anthony Lemke) dealings with Curtis Maynard (Noam Jenkins), a disgraced former cop with connections to drug dealing.

I am very upset they canceled “The Listener” my sister and I just found this show and we both love it. We are currently watching the past episodes on ION. I want this show back on!!! Please DO NOT CANCEL THIS SERIES! !!
I also am bummed about this program being cancelled. I agree that we need to get rid of all of the reality shows. I think the only person who watches them must have a really low IQ. I just started watching this year so I have missed a lot. Will have to check out previous episodes. Love Craig and those eyes.
I love this show; I can’t believe it’s cancelled. It really does still have a lot of life in it. I was hooked after it aired on NBC and delighted when it was picked up by ION from Canadian TV. The Listener has so much appeal; the characters are great thanks to the wonderful cast. I measure a really good show by how I feel about the characters and the actors that portray them. I just find it hard to believe that the networks don’t get it. Why are all the good shows beingccanceled and those stupid reality shows still running. Not everyone likes to hear what a idiot family that has more money than brains does

I’m like cccole, jan 19, ’15, I’d only just found the show in dec. Really liked it. Glad I’d found some “new” show of the type I like – those w/people w/unique skills – didn’t see it listed any more, got on line and – yuck! show cancelled, but I’m embarrassed that I hadn’t found it sooner. Please renew the show, or at least put it in re runs. Or am I missing that too?
If you get the ION channel you can watch the Listener. We are now on ep #37. As far as I can tell they are running in order. They (ION) run 4 eps. back to back on Tues. nights & Sat.nights at 11pm both nights. I have Dish and get the Listener on ch.29. HD or SD . Hope this helps. Oh! I also want it renewed. I love this show!!

I wasn’t aware that the LISTENER got canceled. I am super ticked off. Other shows ie: cooking, reality and other stupid stuff are being renewed and more of the same **** are popping up on ALL networks. Even the SciFi channel has crap on. Nobody listens anymore. I want to be entertained! I don’t need to see people cook or hear them moan about their sorry lives or how many children they have. That IS NOT ENTERTAINMENT!!!!!!! I want the LISTENER back!

Please bring this show back. I had never seen any promos for the show so never even knew about it until I watched a “rerun” of an episode and loved it. I started watching all lthe episodes on TNT and went looking for the website to see when new episodes would be aired…..only to find out that it was cancelled. I hope they bring it back as not only I, but several members of my family are hoping it gets renewed!!!! They really ought to promote it more!
No swearing , great story line. Something everyone can enjoy. Not many of those programs around these days.
I love this show!! My daughter and I watch it all the time and I have been watching it since it started! I think it’s a GREAT show and should be renewed for another season at least! Also Craig and Ennis are both real cuties!

I also want Listener renewed. I’ve been watching it on the ION Channel. I agree w/C Ray, I get lost in Craig’s beautiful eyes!! I was very upset when they cancelled it after one season. Am so glad it’s back on.

This is an exceptional show and the fact it is based in Toronto is a bonus. I can’t believe you would cancel this excellent series and leave pointless, poorly written, poorly acted shows on instead. Every season I have waited anxiously for a new season to begin. Please bring this show back!!!
