TV show description:
This live variety show is set in a replica of the New Rochelle, NY home of husband and wife movie stars Peter Lind Hayes and Mary Healy. Each episode begins with a guest star speaking to someone over the phone, explaining that they’re having dinner with Peter and Mary.
Once the guest arrives at the Hayes and Healy household, their various talents (singing, dancing, comedy) are worked into the dinner party storyline.
Living with Peter and Mary are their housekeeper (Mary Wickes) and an unemployed comedian (Claude Stroud) who came for a visit and ended up moving in.
