There’s a new player on Bates Motel. According to Deadline, Damon Gupton will have a recurring role on season four of A&E’s Bates Motel.
Gupton recently starred on NBC’s The Player, which ended after only nine episodes.
Though NBC hasn’t officially announced the cancellation of The Player, its episode order was cut down and the final episode aired on November 19th.
On the other hand, Bates Motel, A&E’s Psycho spin-off, has been a consistent presence on the network since its premiere in 2013. And despite low ratings, A&E renewed the psychological thriller for a fourth and fifth season this summer.
Deadline reports Gupton will play “Dr. Gregg Edwards, described as Resident Doctor at Pineview Mental Institution” on Bates Motel. Season four of the series will premiere in spring 2016.
What do you think? Did you watch The Player? Are you a fan of Bates Motel? Will you be watching season four?
send the player to fox they keep it running and it would half to suck to be a big hit like 90210 was
this is bs this was 1 of there best shows nine shows well if its off then i am done with nbc and abc all your other shows sucked and u want to no y yall dont have ratings this is y and yes i would watch all them seasons of the player
I do not understand why The Player was cancelled. It was one of my favorite shows. Yet other totally ridiculous shows are consistently left on tv.
I’m very disappointed that they cancelled The Players I really enjoyed Westley Snipes in this. It always seems like you like a show then its cancelled. Are they going to show the rest of the episode at a later date?
