A superhero comedy based on Edlund’s long-running comic, The Tick stars Peter Serafinowicz, Griffin Newman, Valorie Curry, Brendan Hines, Yara Martinez, Scott Speiser, and Jackie Earle Haley. The story unfolds in place in a world where superheroes have been real for many many years and follows a nervous accountant, Arthur Everest (Newman), and a strange (sometimes clueless) blue superhero named The Tick (Serafinowicz). Together, they begin an adventure that’s filled with crazy super villains, dangerous vigilantes, and freakish superheroes.
The pilot of The Tick was released in August 2016 and the 11 additional episodes of the first season were released in two batches, in August 2017 and February 2018. The 10 episodes of season two were unveiled on April 5th of this year.
Edlund revealed that The Tick had been cancelled by Amazon via a Twitter post:
I'm sorry to say Amazon has chosen not to proceed with @TheTickTV I'm not sorry to say I love this show, its cast, its story, and its message. Destiny demands that my compatriots and I now seek a new home for this series.

This show easily has a five season life span !
If all you need to proceed with is a new platform then YES, and literally any of Amazons competitor’s. If I have to uograde my service to include a different platform just to watch this one show, I’ll do it. Love both the cast and storyline

Omg, please, please, please pickup season 3 (and beyond) of The Tick . It is an incredibly well written series which many of us love dearly.

come on need a season 3 to learn where the tick comes from for those who dint see the cartoons give us all an ending….soooo tired of all that counts is money soon people wont give a **** anymore and just stop watching series all together….
How did this happen? I thought everyone loved The Tick. It’s so well written and the actors are great. Please help, we need another season.
You have to let us see season 3 somehow. Watched S1 and S2 so many times. Please find a way. So attached to this story and cast.
I have been a Tick fan for many years, and I was happy to see it be reborn yet again. This is The Tick at its finest and to end it now at such a cliffhanger and at such short notice should be a crime Amazon should have to pay seriously for. This show could go on much longer, and so I vote yes. I would pay any price to watch The Tick on another platform, but I would like it to go much further than just one more season.

I have loved The Tick series ever since the video game on Super Nintendo and I’m tired of seeing it get canceled. Bring it back! I would produce the show if I had the damn money just to watch it myself.
