The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

I am extremely disappointed that there will be no second season , I got right into the first season and had been on edge waiting for the next to come out due to the fact that it ends on a cliff hanger. I am devastated that the CW have cancelled the show and would definitely vote against that predicament.

Seriously! I love The Tomorrow People! It was a great show with a lot of potential. Plus, the way the season ended, well it was such a great cliffhanger. I agree that if nothing else put the second season on Netflix. But you need the same cast to make it work. John Young ( Luke Mitchell) was my favorite character. The tomorrow people shouldn’t be canceled because it is an amazing show and I love watching it I am always looking for good shows to watch and I found one and now you are canceling it .KEEP THE TOMORROW PEOPLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!best show ever❤
I don’t know why these network is continue to cancel these shows that are really good and have a really good story. They need to just keep them going and let the people who actually enjoy them watch them and enjoy them. If anything they should allow Netflix to continue the seasons!!!!

No it should not be cancelled that I’d just stupid come on people, why is every series you guys are cancelling them that sucks come on. It is a great show and how season 1 has end I was looking good forward for season two and see if John could could do something to Cara. Wow seriously people look in your heart ♥.

I think there should be a next season of the tomorrow people because it is a good show and frequently the only one I tend to watch.
I just finished watching the the first season and I thought it was amazing. I was really looking forward to a second season. Please make more seasons, it ended with john becoming a super soldier and the tomorrow people finding a lot more breakouts, thats so much to go off of. This show is great!!
I watched season one and I loved it will you plz bring it back if you were going to make a season 2 you should stick with the plan. I really miss it
