The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

Why would they cancel this amazing show?! The only reason the ratings were bad is because they moved the time slot to Monday and nobody knew when it was on. Please bring it back for season 2! Not doing do is a huge mistake.
Everything is good about the show. the only reason people arent watching is because people dont know when its on. People were waiting for seaon 2 🙁

OMG! You CAN’T be serious, it’s an amazing show. With great actors and everything everyone loves right now. It might have gotten low ratings in the end, but it was maybe because of the changes. It’s one of the most interesting show right now and if you give it a little bit of time, people will notice. Please Bring Them Back Next Year!!!!
pleasee the show CAN NOT be cancelled….the first season had some breaks in the story but it was just because we needed to know the characters. Now the second season would be completely different and much more interesting. Some other shows also had a bad first season but the seasons after were the ones that made the fans grab to the show, like Vampire Diaries for example….and look the huge amount of fans that they have now.

I understand you rates r low. But I live in UK and watch tomorrow people religiously every week and is very up that this show has been cancelled. It’s one of the best shows I have seen. I also this u made the biggest mistake.
I broke my rule and watched a CW show in its first season because I loved this show when I was a kid. I regret it and thankfully will not be making that mistake again.

Don’t stop this show, please. It would be a missing opportunity for one of the best science fiction tv series of all times. It could be the cult sci-fi of the new millennium!

I cannot believe that the show was cancelled. It had a great story, great acting, overall excellent.
Well, at least it had a decent ending, if we skip the last part with Jedikiah.
