The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

please don’t cancel the season show. The tomorrow people is one of the show which i can see all day. It was very disappointing to hear that. If the show producers or directors have any problem related to the response which is of course it is so they should try some different strategy, i am quite sure that many people around didn’t knew about this series who would be willing to watch it. please do work on season 2. A fan request .
What an awsome show, bring on season 2. CW stop being a buzz kill, start working on season 2 and more.

by far the most intense show ever…just finished season1 and went looking for season 2 only to find out it was cancelled….heartbroken. How are we suppose to know what Jed and Jon do now?!?
ugh, I’m sorry to find out that this show is cancelled. I never got into it while it was airing because it conflicted with other TV shows I was watching at the time. After watching it fully on Netflix, I realize what I’ve been missing out on. Such a great piece of work, again I’m angered to know it won’t be returning for another season.Grrr the last ep keeps you hanging for more.
This show was one of my favorite shows of all time when it first aired and I just recently watched all of Season 1 and finished today. I was HIGHLY disappointed to just find out that this show was cancelled. The Season Finale left soooo much breathing room and opportunity for another season. Please please please reconsider filming another. This is the kind of thing us 18-27 year olds love to watch. It should have had more advertisement and been aired on another, more popular network.
Shute, Cody I am 47 and I loved this show too. So it reached all ages. I agree why cancel a high rated show? The kept Beauty and the Beast even though its ratings were lower.
I personally love the show and i believe the cw would get more ratings if they brought the show back on the air, also i believe i speak for more than just myself when i say this

Ths show shouldn’t have been canceled I mean he lost his memory what show ends it like that their should at least have been a happy ending. And it was an awsome show My 3rd fav. But still

This was one of the best SciFi shows I’ve ever watched. It was a bit over dramatic at times but still one of the best shows ever. I knew it was too good to be true. Netflix or someone buy this damn show and air the 2nd season!

i dont think it should be cancled i just started watching it a week ago and now there isnt gonna be a second season and i am already done with the first season this ******* sucks i realy hate the cw now
Hell no we need more episode this is to good to stop whatching they stopped the show like that so you want another episode to explain it all they leave you hanging start a new season for all the fans.
