TV show description:
This dramatic series revolves around a tough and experienced female police officer from Seattle, Allison McLean (Kelli Williams). Like most working women, her hands are already full, balancing a demanding and dangerous job and a family — husband Matt (Jonathan Scarfe), and teenagers Jeff (Mitchell Kummen) and Rachel (Natasha Calis).
She and her partner, Devin (Dion Johnstone), must arrest her brother, Tim (Luke Perry), for aggravated assault. As a result, her world drastically changes. Tim is convicted and sent to prison and this leaves his two teenagers — Cameron (Rhys Matthew Bond) and Mariah (Matreya Scarrwener) — teetering on the brink of foster care.
Having done the right thing as an officer of the law, Allison now feels compelled to do the right thing as a sister and aunt. She brings Tim’s two very unhappy teens into her home. Squeezing four teenagers under one roof proves to be an additional test of Allison’s strength and patience. It’s not easy for her husband, her children, or Tim’s kids either.
Episode #10 — Protect and Serve
Allison and Devin uncover the shocking truth at the heart of a turf war in Crestview. Allison and Matt take the entire family to visit Tim in prison. Jackie, feeling jealous of the way Cameron looks up to Allison, makes a tragic choice.

I loved this show. I don’t allow my children to watch much TV because there isn’t much of anything that’s respectable and appropriate on these days. But, after seeing one or two episodes of Ties That Bind, I WANTED them to watch it. It was a great family show and very positive and encouraging. Please reconsider and bring it back.

Cancellation doesn’t surprise me. There’s no canned laughter, inane dialogue, graphic violence or subject matter geared to 4th grade mentality. Put a show on that depicts subjects of substance and believable characters and its the kiss of death.Sad commentary on our times.

Such a disappointment! In a TV world full of reality shows, wannabe singers and dancers and crime dramas this was a show I loved to watch with my teen girls. It’s a shame to let a quality show with great actors and storylines get cancelled.
Ties that Bind is cancelled? That is too bad such a good show.
I liked it very much and was looking forward to Season 2. Very Dissappointed.
I love the show was waiting patiently for season two only to find out that it has been cancelled. I’m very sad.

What a disappointment it was to hear that Ties That Bind was canceled. My family has been waiting and watching for it and today I find out you canceled it. This show was great, I can’t believe you let it go. We had just got a new cable package so we could have UP and found Ties That Bind and were thrilled and now every time we check UP there is nothing we want to see. Guess changing back to the old cable package makes sense.

Very disappointed to see that the show has been canceled. This channel is supposed to be uplifting and it keeps showing the other shows over and over again which gets extremely boring . Ties that bind had really good content so I can talk to my teens about things that are going on in their schools made the conversations much easier . Wish they would reconsider and bring it back .
why do you keep taking good shows off? Heartland, gone, Ties that binds, gone, Judging Amy, gone, Lincoln Hieghts, gone… you put the Parkers on how is this woman stalking this man a good show? for real I want to know … back your claims up be good for family I don’t want the lustful stuff on there like wow an why was troy taken off ??? this channel disappoints
Any show with a little heart, great acting and a good story is cancelled. Make way for more reality TV and reruns.Apparently we don’t pay enough for good programming.
