TV show description:
This dramatic series revolves around a tough and experienced female police officer from Seattle, Allison McLean (Kelli Williams). Like most working women, her hands are already full, balancing a demanding and dangerous job and a family — husband Matt (Jonathan Scarfe), and teenagers Jeff (Mitchell Kummen) and Rachel (Natasha Calis).
She and her partner, Devin (Dion Johnstone), must arrest her brother, Tim (Luke Perry), for aggravated assault. As a result, her world drastically changes. Tim is convicted and sent to prison and this leaves his two teenagers — Cameron (Rhys Matthew Bond) and Mariah (Matreya Scarrwener) — teetering on the brink of foster care.
Having done the right thing as an officer of the law, Allison now feels compelled to do the right thing as a sister and aunt. She brings Tim’s two very unhappy teens into her home. Squeezing four teenagers under one roof proves to be an additional test of Allison’s strength and patience. It’s not easy for her husband, her children, or Tim’s kids either.
Episode #10 — Protect and Serve
Allison and Devin uncover the shocking truth at the heart of a turf war in Crestview. Allison and Matt take the entire family to visit Tim in prison. Jackie, feeling jealous of the way Cameron looks up to Allison, makes a tragic choice.

Sorry to hear this show was cancelled and with a cliffhanger – it was a good show – should have at least tried 6 episodes to close things out
I was looking for new season and then found out it was canceled I really love the show. Why are the good shows always canceled love to see it come back.
Like all the others, I just checked to see where this show was and learned it had been cancelled. VERY disappointed!!
Ties that bind was a great show, my whole family and lots of my friends loved it, and we were all excited about season 2, especially after the cliffhanger. Why is that good shows are cancelled and the bad ones remain??? Would love to see it come back on.
I was waiting and waiting for Season 2. I finally had the nerve to check if it was cancelled. This was a good show with good characters, action, and storylines without the filth. I was getting more people interested. So sad.
I loved it!!! So upset that there will not be a 2 SEASON I loved it great for family to watch amazinging values I hope y’all bring it back soon

Just checked today to see why I haven’t seen it recorded on my dvr & see it was cancelled. I am very disappointed. It had a great story line, family oriented -good values-awesome teaching tool! Maybe it could have been given more time to circulate. It is not exactly a channel everyone is easily aware of so I constantly spoke of it, especially once this show started. Anyway one of few I enjoyed and I am really disappointed. I agree with Dawn & Lorie! ugh!

Was just checking to see when Ties That Bind would return and am so very disappointed to find out it won’t. The cast had amazing chemistry. It was clean, wholesome family entertainment..funny yet serious. Maybe a movie to wrap up everything? Really frustrating to have series end in cliffhanger! Maybe ratings weren’t the best but some things like solid, realistic storylines, clean dialogue & family values should be more important! Again very disappointed in the decision to cancel!

I’m so disgusted that ‘Ties That Bind’ has been canceled. This was a terrific show with positive family values, a talented cast, and story lines that taught lessons without beating someone over the head. This was a show parents could watch with their younger children and not have to worry what a character was going to say or do. It’s the only show I watched on Up! because your other shows are mostly old shows.
