What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC action adventure drama, Timeless stars Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett, Goran Višnjić, Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey, and Claudia Doumit. Season two picks up right after the events of last season and follows Rufus (Barrett), Wyatt (Lanter), and Lucy (Spencer) on their quest to prevent the destruction of our world as we know it. This season they’ll find an unlikely ally in their mission to destroy Rittenhouse, a deadly organization Lucy’s family has been a part of, for centuries. As they try not to change the past, they will visit 1692, 1917, 1941, 1981 and more, and encounter Marie Curie, Hedy Lamarr, William Randolph Hearst, and other influential historical figures.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Timeless averaged a 0.61 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.64 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 45% and 43%, respectively. Find out how Timeless stacks up against other NBC TV shows.
Timeless has been cancelled. There will be no season three, but NBC has ordered a two-part Timeless finale movie which will air December 20, 2018. Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Will NBC cancel or renew Timeless for season three? It’s in a tougher timeslot and the ratings have really suffered. I suspect that Timeless will be cancelled and won’t return for a third season unless there’s some reason that makes this show very cheap to produce. Season two benefited from tax incentives but I don’t think season three would have the same break. For now, I’ll update this page with breaking developments. Timeless – I feel the only reason the rating were low this season was at first they announced that it would be canceled. I didn’t even that it had been renewed until I saw that the 2nd season was on Demand
I Love timeless!!! I really hope it comes back for a 3rd season.
Timeless needs to be renewed. along with being very entertaining, its also about history, helps bring it up front and center and helps some to remember the past. its a great show with good casting and good acting and the storylines as mentioned above are of interest to all ages.

Please renew Timeless it is a great show. If ratings are low then make some changes that will increase ratings or change the time spot so more people will watch it.

Please renew Timeless for a third season. The show reminds viewers of important times in history that need to be remembered. Interesting story lines & great acting also.
I only found out that season two was made just before it aired. How do these dim bulbs in charge of the studios make these loutish decisions????
I know, and if they hadn’t of cancelled it, then changed their minds in the first place it would have done better in the ratings.
Please renew Timeless for season 3. It’s a history lesson done in a creative, entertaining manner.
Renew the show…please. The actors have chemistry, it’s a funn way to learn history and the stories are clever. I love it and would be sad to see it go.

Timeless is a wonderful, interesting, challenging TV series. The history lessons are fun and informative and the characters are engaging and likeable. I truly hope that Timeless is renewed for Season 3. I never miss an episode.
