Julia Roberts is coming to the small screen. The Wrap reports the Academy Award-winner’s first TV series, Today Will Be Different, will air on HBO.
Based on the book by Maria Semple, the mini-series “will show a day in the life of Eleanor Flood, who had ambitions to wake up and have the best day of her life, but is forced to abandon those plays when she finds a strange, new future unfolding.”
HBO has not yet announced a premiere date for Today Will Be Different. The limited series is being produced by Roberts and Annapurna Television’s Megan Ellison and Sue Naegle.
What do you think? Are you a fan of Julie Roberts? Will you watch Today Will Be Different?
I agree with George Wexler, I need to see more on the show, but I’m looking forward to it.
I am a loyal Julia Robert fan and would definitely watch. I don’t think she would do anything that is not good.
I love her but this book is a bit more wacky than the humor I expect from Julia. As the book covers only one day I wonder how many episodes are in the miniseries. Hopefully it will work.
Julia Roberts is a favorite of mine. Love her in everything ! Would love to watch her new show.
Yes, I love Julia Roberts and would check this show out.
I love Julia Roberts and will definitely watch a series in which she stars.
Yes I like Julia Roberts, but the show’s description in this article is much too limited & doesn’t stimulate interest. More details?
