What do you think? Do you like the Togetherness TV show? Would you like to see a second season or should it be cancelled?
I love the show and will truly miss watching. I laughed, cried and absolutely fell in love with the cast. The other comments are pretty harsh and if you don’t enjoy something… change the channel. Don’t waste time picking it apart online. Bad attention is better than no attention. I am sad to see this series end.
I am only calling out the poor quality of this show in the hopes that a network I count on for reliable programming will improve next year’s lineup. This show is unwatchable. It makes the mistake of attempting to be profound through cliche, navel gazing, and poor execution. There is no value in this insipid series of empty vignettes: trivial and pseudo intellectual junk .
….Just read what a few people wrote and I’d just like to say, whyyyyyyyyyyy would you watch this type of show with your kids?!! It’s real-life situations (refreshing) and quite possible for these storylines to happen to anyone. Unlike all these other shows on tv these days, that blow things out of proportion or depict life with a false sense of hope. It’s raw, real and I can’t wait for season 2. Thanks HBO!!!!! ..For those who don’t like it, STOP WATCHING. It wasn’t made for you, if you can’t enjoy the realism and acting from this great cast, then… Read more »
This series is a self-indulgent drag; my family and I stopped watching halfway through the season when it showed no sign of broadening into anything more than navel gazing. Very poorly written with no sense of development on the part of the main married couple, whose kids remain strangers. Very surprised HBO have this dog a second life.
The plot line was obvious and dated.
The characters as predictable as the fours seasons.
The cast was poorly chosen.
In short, the whole thing was a bore.
The only thing that kept me watching was, wait for it: THE BOOBS.
Much as I like boobs, this thing belongs in the trash can.
I really like it! I hope you’ll give it another season! !! I love the cast and it’s just really real. Refreshing, I like it a lot! !
