FXX has cancelled their first television series. The new cable channel has announced that Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell won’t be back for a third season.
The nightly talk show premiered well but struggled when it didn’t have comedies It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The League as a lead-in. Recent episodes dropped as low as 10,000 total viewers.
The series finale of Totally Biased will air on Sunday, November 17th. It will be a “best of” installment.
A representative told Defamer, “It’s a bummer. We love the show, he [Bell] is an incredible talent. Unfortunately the ratings didn’t meet the expectations; that’s why we had to make the decision.”
What do you think? Did you like this late-night talk show?
By now you also should have received quality scores
for your ads. This in itself is not all that great but really,
if you persevere with Clickbank you will hardly notice
it. Get familiar with the niche and become somewhat of an expert.
I loved this show! It had great writing and the people were really funny. Maybe HBO will pick it up. There is not many shows left that calls for a little intelligence to keep up with it.
Such a dull show..
So it did well when it was on Fx, but when they moved it to Fxx, it tanked… Hmmm, I know the rollout of Fxx was garbage, I could only Tivo the SD version for the first week, it wasn’t until the start of the second week that Tivo added the HD channel to it’s lineup to be able to record shows in advance.
Well good luck elsewhere.
