It was a very solid opening for Touch. The series had the second-best premiere of the season on any network (behind Once Upon a Time) and the third best debut of FOX’s current season, behind only by New Girl and Napoleon Dynamite.
FOX has used Idol to launch several new shows over the years — Glee, Human Target, Lie to Me, and Fringe — but Touch retained a higher percentage than any of them.
Will the numbers hold up? We’ll have to wait until the second episode airs on Monday, March 19th to find out.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Touch TV series? Do you hope that it’s cancelled or renewed for a second season?

This is the most stupid show ever created. Watched two episodes and no more. Only watched because of Kiefer Sutherland. Cancelled good shows like Alcatraz, Dead Zone, 4400, etc and give this a Season Two. Well not me. BRING BACK 24!!!!!!!!!
bring back 24
i think it should be renewed and i am only 11 years old those want to put on boring shows like terra nova this series is much better

Great series can’t wait until season 2
Touch is getting better and better with each episode. Whoever doesn’t like it probably isn’t very bright and just doesn’t get it.
Actually, I believe it’s the other way around. You have to be extremely simple-minded and gullible to enjoy this show. It is completely lacking in any reality and it’s manipulation of human emotion and intelligence is insulting.
My daughter and I never miss an episode! We think it’s the best show on the air in the last 10 years!! Week after week, we are amazed at the storyline and CAN’T WAIT for the next week! Please DO NOT CANCEL our favorite show of all time!!!!!
Good show there something going on that triggers you hope we see more of this.
LOVE Keifer and tried my best to get into it, but had to stop watching after 5 episodes — Pretty mediocre writing and plot lines. Suspension of disbelief has to be magnified exponentially to try and enjoy it.
It’s a shame that an amazing show like Awake gets cancelled after one season, but this show gets to live on another season…
Bring back 24!!!
Can’t agree with you more !!!
“Touch” is helping to help aid with the awakening process that is now in progress. The Universe is speaking to us through any means necessary and yet we tune it out and pass off its message as a mere coincidence. Nature talks to us every moment of the day. The fibonacci sequence has been here since the being of time. Old Masters such as Da Vinci, incorporated it into their paintings. Oneness, the Red Thread that ties us all together. We are of One. We are energetic beings shifting out of fear based thinking, into that of love.… Read more »
Agreed. 110%!!
I agree! Cancel Touch! The kid is such an irritating brat, and the storylines are completely disbelievable! Bring back Terra Nova and The Finder! I’m ready to boycott Fox because they cancel the good shows and renew the lame shows.
absolutely top notch new series. Kiefer is perfect in this role, taking him to yet another level as an actor with staying power. The young son is captivating and each week’s storyline and brilliant writing offers perfect story evolvement.
Fantastic show with feelings! We need more shows like this and less stupid reality shows that show people at their worst! Please don’t cancel!
Brilliant, Brilliant, Show ! Please do not cancel!!!!!
they need to cancel this show ASAP, bring pack Terra Nova or some thing similar to Stargate SG-1 .
this touch show is ok but that kid seems like his ears is not working and needs to be put on time out.
You would bring back Terra Nova and cancel Touch are you mentally ill??
I completely agree!!! I hate this show!! I’m sorry but the kid is a complete brat. I have worked with autistic and down’s syndrome kids and I have never encountered a child that is as unruly and uncontrollable as Jake…wait maybe I need to say “Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake!!!!” Sutherland’s character only makes it worse since he seems to indulge every one of his whims. Furthermore, this child would NEVER have been removed from his father’s care! That loft apartment in New York City that he was providing his son and the care and attention would never have led to… Read more »
