What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the USA Network television channel, the Treadstone TV show stars Jeremy Irvine, Brian J. Smith, Omar Metwally, Tracy Ifeachor, Hyo Joo Han, Gabrielle Scharnitzky, Emilia Schüle, and Michelle Forbes, with Patrick Fugit, Michael Gaston, Shruti Haasan, and Tess Haubrich in recurring roles. Created by Tim Kring and connected to the Bourne film franchise, the show explores both the origin of the CIA black ops program — Operation: Treadstone — and its present-day actions. Treadstone uses behavior modification protocol to turn recruits into nearly superhuman assassins. Sleeper agents across the globe — from D.C. to Berlin to Paris and beyond — as they are mysteriously “awakened” to resume their deadly missions.
Characters include Doug McKenna (Smith), an all-American oil-rig worker; SoYun Pak (Han), a piano instructor, wife, and mother in North Korea; John Randolph Bentley (Irvine), a spy dispatched by the CIA to eliminate a key target; Matt Edwards (Metwally), a CIA operative who has experience hunting down rogue assets; Tara Coleman (Ifeachor), an investigative journalist; Petra (Scharnitzky), a no-nonsense Russian patriot; Ellen Becker (Forbes), a savvy CIA veteran trying to balance the demands of work and family; and a Russian KGB agent (Emilia Schüle) who will stop at nothing to promote the agenda of her motherland.

Telly’s Take
Will USA Network cancel or renew Treadstone for season two? The ratings aren’t great but my sense is that this was a relatively inexpensive series (for an action drama) to produce so I’m leaning toward a renewal. I just got to know about it a few days back and it’s a great show. I would be recommending it to my friends but you cancelled its season 2! Why?? Bring it back please , at the time it was getting more interesting you cancelled it I mean wtf??
I love all of the Bourne movies!!! I didn’t know about the Bourne spinoff until a few days ago and I binge watched the first season just to find out there won’t we a second! I am absolutely livid!!
What the hell I just finished watching the whole season 1 and you are not making a season2??? This is ridiculous! I usually dont whatch series because they are all the same but this did justice to the actual Bourne movies! Please bring it back!

Just binge watched the whole first season of Treadstone,you have got to give it another 3 seasons at the very least,as soon as people get on this it will rocket the ratings,its brilliant,cancel that cancellation USA!!!!! Its better than any of tje crap that has been on in recent years,you have a gem on your hands,dont let it go ,if i had enough money i would sanction it ,it will go on to be massive if you just keep faith with it
Dude come on; not a lot oon usa is great tv, usually just reruns as far as i know, haven’t watched usa much since they took off their late night programming; their daytime stuff is/was just reruns and repeated for hours, treadstone’s a fresher, newer entry into the usa-verse, why cancel a good, bingeable show! MORONS!!!!!!!!

I hate that Treadstone had been canceled, I was really enjoying the new spy show. I hope they think twice and renew it for a second and hopefully a third season and on and on.

Gutted that Treadstone has been cancelled. I hope they are just bluffing and its just another clever bluff in the twist of the plot of this amazing show. It’s one of the best shows I have seen and have been looking forward to season 2. Let’s hope that it returns to carry on with the excellent plot and characters that season one built up. If the makers are anything like the characters they would tell you it wasn’t happening whilst making the new season even better behind a veil of secrecy.

DO NOT CANCEL TREASTONE!! It is an amazing series that could go on for a while. It’s the best story writing for a series that I’ve seen since ALIAS! (Which ended too soon too)It’s just amazing, give it a chance people will hear of it. If not from me then a lot of others.
