Though True Blood is still quite popular on HBO, the ratings have been dwindling over that last few seasons. Will they keep falling now that we’ve come to the final season or, will they hit new highs? Stay tuned.
Based on The Southern Vampire Mysteries novels by Charlaine Harris, True Blood revolves around telepathic waitress Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) and other residents of Bon Temps, Louisiana. The rest of the large cast includes Sam Trammell, Ryan Kwanten, Rutina Wesley, Kristin Bauer, Nelsan Ellis, Alexander Skarsgard, Deborah Ann Woll, Chris Bauer, Carrie Preston, Lauren Bowles, Joe Manganiello, Anna Camp, Jim Parrack, Amelia Rose Blaire, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Nathan Parsons, Karolina Wydra, Bailey Noble, Gregg Daniel, and Adina Porter.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.
Final season averages: 1.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.48 million total viewers.
