The Vampire Diaries will return for an eighth season next fall, but it will be the last season for one of the stars of the CW series.

Kat Graham has played the role of Bonnie Bennett, Mystic Falls resident witch, since the beginning. Fans have seen her grow into her powers, spend time locked in another world with Damon Salvatore, and find ways to cheat death.

Graham is ready to call it all done though. According to TV Line, she said the following:

“Season 8 will be my last season. I just hope that whatever I do after, the crew can come with me. … The crew is going to be the hardest thing to let go, because we are a family. Another season is a whole other year. and we’re going to blow it out.”
