Wicked City aired for three episodes on ABC in October before the network pulled the plug on the series. Ratings for the new series were low. The third and final episode that aired on ABC averaged a 0.45 demo rating and had 1.69 million viewers.
When ABC pulled the plug on Wicked City, there were still five episodes of the series left to air. Those episodes started to air in New Zealand, and ABC decided to air the remaining episodes on Hulu for American audiences.
Four of the five remaining episodes were released to Hulu last week, and now the series finale has been released.

big loss I loved the show give it a chance
You, the “powers-that-be” at ABC, must spend a lot of time sitting on your brains. If you think that 3 episodes of a new series is enough time to judge whether or not the viewing public likes the show, I suggest you get up off your brains and turn the reins over to smarter people. ABC has a problem with cancellations being issued too quickly. This is at least seven new shows now that I was just starting to love and hear buzz about in my circle of friends that they have cancelled way, way, WAY too soon. The last straw is Blood and Oil, and I will not be watching ABC anymore! Why would I??????
