I’ve been pretty disappointed with the ultra drama of the Avery family, et al. Yesterday’s episode was beneath the dignity of the average doctor, let alone these giants in their fields. Too much childish behavior from the attendings (Christina, Karev and Owen) and more adult behavior by the interns. I have thought for a while that Shondra is sick of this show and is much more interested in her new show Scandal. If she doesn’t want to write Grey’s anymore, she should just stop. I wasn’t happy when Private Practice was cancelled just when it was getting much better this year. It was evident that Shondra was tired of that show and like her new show better.

It appears to me that some people don’t have their priorities straight.

Grey’s is one of the few shows BOTH my husband and I watch together. We love it, though sometimes the sex scenes seem pretty overdone. We enjoy the story lines, the medical cases and the wonderful actors. PLEASE keep it coming! It’s definitely my favorite show :)

i love greys. it is bad enough that abc has cancel pp but now they are thinking about greys also i would like to know what rating they are talking about because like another comment stated you have internet and all types of recorders now. do they consider that also i been watching since it started and i would truly miss it. you need to read commits that people leave on what ever stations that it is on. hopefully abc will keep it on an not be and idiot and cancel it.

Grey’s needs to have Addision return to the show now that Private Practice is finally over.
Little Grey being killed off was a bad decision. Mark Sloan leaving hurt worse. This on again off again twosome was the next great love story Greys had and was wiped off for the new crop of interns? yuch! predictable! Also the plane crash ugh! The worst storyline now is with Arizona and Callie. They are the hottest couple and brillant doctors on the show bt this storyline backs them into a corner of dull. What were they thinking?

First let me say I love Grey’s, but… They currently have too many characters and two many story lines to follow. Everything is so disjointed and doesn’t flow because there is so much/many to keep up with.

I agree J.R. You put your finger right on it. Along with too many characters and too many story lines, all of these things keep going back and forth. Closing the ER, doctors quitting, nurses quitting, the hospital being sold to cut it up and sell off parts, then Catherine Avery coming up with making it a part of the Avery Foundation and her son getting too big for his breeches and Owen quitting. Most of this happened last night. Are you confused yet? Then there was the drama of 3 transplant patients waiting for organs and when they come in there aren’t enough ORs or transplant teams. I was tired out by the time it was over. Just MHO.

This show is a shadow of the first 4 years and in a lot of cases the current episodes are borrowing stories from those years. I hate the new interns who are apparently supposed to be replacements for the orig. cast. I miss Izzy and George and Burke. I also watch the old episodes. I don’t own Season 5-9. After Season 4 it headed downhill and the stories were really mind numbingly stupid. I am hoping it gets canceled before the creators tear it down to the point where it takes the first few years down with it.

hey, I’m from Romania, and I’ve been watching grey’s since the first episode, on TV and on the computer, all episodes , and not only once. In my country various televisions air different seasons, some of them older or newer, and I always watch an ep when I catch it on TV, even if it’s for the fourth of fifth time. It’s true, some episodes weren’t as good as those in the early seasons, but I could never stop watching grey’s, and when they will shut it down, I will rewatch them, until I learn the lines by heart:).I hope it will last for at least another 3 or 4 years from now:)I simply love it, and last, my cousin who is a surgeon watches it;)

Do these ratings reflect Tivo and other DVR’s and on Demand and network websites for the videoes? Don’t forget the old VCR. There are a LOT of people still using them. Ever think to ask the viewers if they like the show?
I do and I watch every week, altho not at 9pm on Thursdays.

I have LOVED grays ever since it started…i missed the first season then bought the whole season so I would know who was who. I then watched ALL the time yr,after yr. Until they said it was going to be cancelled , it was getting boring so stopped watching after Mcdreamy and that whole thing passed. I didnt care any more. Then I started seeing ads that it was starting again in Sept. asked my friend in the UK if I was dreaming “wasn’t Gray’s being cancelled?” She said YES. Anyway tuned in first eps.of sea#9…didnt have a CLUE as to what had happed (plane crash) GOT hooked once again I have comcast’s ON Demand so I can go back, and I caught the plane crash which was SO could I couldnt believe I had missed it. Bottom Line……LOVE<LOVE IT…hooked again and The news has crossed the Pond and my friend is spreading the word, even though they are way behind……if this should help….Hurry Up! in the UK as they need to see it, they are way behind. Thank You Shondra……..

No doubt this season has been almost a reboot. Most of the episodes crackle with energy missing in the past couple of years. Having started out fresh and filled with strong female roles, the dip into constant sex and couples needing therapy stories brought it close to the soap opera cliff. However, the plane crash and resulting cast shake up gives Grey new life and an opportunity to watch three generations of surgeons, two we know and love and the new residents fresh out of medical school, blend together in many different and challenging situations bringing Grey’s closer to the brilliant show it used to be. Great time for old fans to come back and new fans to give it a try. Four years ago, I changed my rating on Imdb from 10 down to 4 and did not watch two seasons. Now I’ve switched back to 8 and as a friend encouraged me to come back, I’d say it has definitely managed to bring back much of the wonderful joy and spectacular television we loved in the first couple of seasons.

I love grey’s Anatomy it is the best show ever. I watch all the seasons over and over again. I watch Grey before anything else. I do wish that you could play some reruns before the new season came on just to keep it fresh
