Some classic TV shows are coming to the same network. Sitcoms Online reports the new digital multicast network Light TV will air several TV series including Highway to Heaven, Heartland, and Touched by an Angel.
The network comes from MGM Television chief Mark Burnett and his wife, Roma Downey, who starred in Touched by an Angel. Light TV describes itself as “wholesome family and faith-based entertainment.” It will be available on FOX-owned and FOX-affiliated stations throughout the country.
Light TV will also air TV series like Little House On The Prairie and Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? in addition to the MGM catalog of movies, which includes All Dogs Go To Heaven, The Black Stallion, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Lilies of the Field, The Nutcracker, Fame, Hoosiers, Red River, Little Man Tate, Pink Panther, Rocky and Mr. Mom.
What do you think? Are you a fan of family and faith-based entertainment? Will you tune in to Light TV?
