Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

Nashville is my wanted addiction (along with General Hospital) that must remain fed! While I initially felt the thin and hackneyed advertised theme (rivalry between females) was not something I’d cotton to (as I detest this done-to-death dinosaur), I tuned in out of sheer curiosity. It took one episode to have me hooked. The reason: It’s a very well-acted drama which, so far, has kept its players well within its confines (i.e., not bringing in too many outsiders), speaks to everyone’s emotions, and offers up original, beautifully crafted, and very well sung songs. While Connie Britton’s acting is adequate, I find the real showstoppers are Hayden, Clare and Charles. PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL this series.
