Raising the Bar: Cancelled TNT Series Returning (Briefly)

Raising the BarTNT’s cancelled legal drama, Raising the Bar, is returning to the cable channel, albeit for one night.

The final three episodes of the drama, featuring Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Gloria Reuben, Currie Graham, Melissa Sagemiller, J. August Richards and the rest of the cast, will be shown in a mini-marathon on Christmas eve.

The installments begin at 8pm and continue until 11pm. The titles are “Maybe, Baby,” “O! Say Can You Pee,” and “Happy Ending.”

What do you think? Will you be tuning in to watch the Raising the Bar characters have their final day in court and say goodbye? Anything you hope to see happen in the final episodes?

Is there nothing we can do to get this excellent show back on tv? I’ve heard of fans getting other shows re-scheduled so what can we do to get Raising the Bar back on – even on a different channel?

NOOOOO! This is one of the best series to hit the air in a long time. Maybe the problem was the Monday night time slot – lots of competition on Monday night network tv.
This just breaks my heart – I love this show- and I seriously hate to see it end!

Well, with Raising The Bar gone, maybe TNT can correct its error in canceling Saving Grace. Actually, the production studio killed Grace but TNT can save face by finding another production studio and picking it back up.

Had no idea that TNT had cancelled this excellent series. There was no fanfare announcing the 3 episode “finale” especially since i am a loyal fan of TNT with all the publicity “THE CLOSER” and “MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE GET.” So so sorry to see the series gone………

i had no idea about the 3 episode mini conclusion and really really glad my DVR kicked in and recorded all 3. i LOVED that series and am sorry to see it go. however, i do applaud TNT for giving loyal viewers some closure unlike network cancelled series that just disappear……

I watched the final three episodes on Christmas Eve and enjoyed thoroughly – as usual. This was a good series and I’m sorry to see it cancelled. It is amazing to me the type of shows that continue to be carried – and the excellent ones like Raising The Bar that are cancelled.

I can’t believe TNT is cancelling Raising the Bar. We thoroughly enjoyed the show, the cast and the plots. As of yet, I have not seen a reason as to why the powers that be at TNT are not supporting the return of the show. You bet I’ll be watching all three episodes. Good thing I had the dvr set to record the show automatically or I would have missed it.

I wanted to see Roz and the rich kid get together, for real, not just a fleeting innuendo.

The last 3 episodes were outstanding. This is truly a shame. I hope TNT makes the right decision and puts this show back on the air. As a lawyer myself, I can’t say enough good things about this show.

I liked the show – too bad it won’t be back. At least TNT is showing the last 3 episodes.

so sorry to hear it was cancelled. Pretty soon I can cancel cable…..there is hardly anything on except pathetic reality type programming. The last finale of RTB was one of the best shows I watched on TV last year.
