Yahoo will no longer pursue The Pursuit. The site confirmed today that it has cancelled its plans for the sitcom about a group of young friends.
The series, from executive producer Scott Stuber, was announced last April as part of Yahoo’s NewFronts presentation and billed as a Friends for the millennial generation. The cancellation doesn’t come as a complete surprise, as Yahoo just recently revealed they lost $42 million on their original series programming.
However, Yahoo isn’t entirely out of the TV game yet. They still have plans to produce an electronic music competition show from Simon Cowell.
What do you think? Do you want to see more original series from Yahoo?
