It was a solid launch for the new comedy. It lost 23% of the demo audience from lead-in Big Bang Theory. However, ¡ROB! outperformed the season premiere of Rules of Engagement by 14% and December’s last original episode of Rules by 52%.
It was also a significant improvement for CBS (up 41% in the demo) when compared to last year’s ratings for now-cancelled $#*! My Dad Says. Unless the show seriously declines in the next couple weeks, it looks like the network may finally have found a compatible partner for Big Bang.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the ¡ROB! TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

It’s a great show that brings in the Latino comedy and culture that isn’t seen much on TV. Please Bring it back!! We want another season.
I think Whites are getting fed up with being the punchline.
Rob – this show SUCKS! And is not funny at all.
In the 8 weeks it has been on, the ratings on ROB have slipped down every week.
If the plot line was focused on a white father-in-law belittling his new Mexican daughter-in-law, there would be outrage. Why does CBS think a Mexican mocking his new white son-in-law acceptable? It’s not. “ROB” is a pathetic attempt at a sitcom.
ROB is trash TV.
I find it very forced. I just can not get into it.
We missed it this week. ¹¡Rob! and The Big Bang Theory are the best sitcoms today. It is way much better than what is left of Two and a Half Men.
Keep Rob alive and kicking!
Way to go Rob, Cheech and Eugenio!
ROB SUX…. Bring Rules of Engagement back… This ,can barely hold my food down ,show is both ignorant and and embarrasing for the former SNL star.. get rid of it and bring back a much wanted Rules…..
Cancel “Rob”…… kinda retarded!
i think cheech had to be more cheech..lol
I think its a different shows, that show how hispanic family really are
very funny
I was looking to see Rob all year around, its a great comedy show
I think it’s a different show, funny and it also introduce the way hispanic people
do things in a different way I think it should return.
It’s a sitcome with standard sitcome fair, but it’s fun – everyone seems to work together fine – everyone is goofy and it’s fun
We love the show and so do all of our Family & Friends! Keep the episodes coming!
So true that this show is BORING. It is so scripted and stupid.
