Just days after the WB series finale, it looks like the Camdens will be back for a record-breaking eleventh season. Remarkably, the new CW network has reportedly agreed to purchase thirteen new episodes of 7th Heaven.
In an article published today in Mediaweek: “With the merging of the WB with UPN, and an influx of corporate cash in the new partnership of CBS and Warner Bros, a decision was made to bring back the WB’s most-watched show on the new CW.” The show’s stars Stephen Collins, Catharine Hicks, David Gallagher, Beverly Mitchell, Mackenzie Rosman and George Stults are all expected to return.
Like all of the broadcast networks, the CW is still in the process of finalizing their fall primetime schedule. The network is expected to officially announce where on the schedule 7th Heaven will be at its upfront session on Thursday, May 18, 2006. Heaven aired on the Mondays and is likely to remain in that time period next season. 
Thank you so much I was left wanting with the last episode of season 10 and was wondering with Sandy showing up with the baby if she was there to tell Simon that he was the father. I really hope that you guys stick with the show. I understand that the actors want to go on with other things but I really want to know what happens with sandy and simon. Also with Ruthie and Martin. Thanks CW for bringing back 7th Heaven. If you, do end it after the 11 season–give IT a great going away story. Must admit I was a little disappointed with the series finale. BUT I am and always will be a TRUE 7th Heaven fan. We would also like to see a lot more of Mary and Matt interacting on the show-they too are crucial characters to 7th Heaven. Pay Jessica and Barry what they deserve!!! 🙂
thank you a million times over for renewing 7th heaven. i am sooo happy they will be on again….cant wait till the show begins airing …glad rose is out of the picture….she never fit the picture in the first place…bring back sandy and give simon a real woman to have a relationship with..congrats to all the new parents to be…sounds like barrels of fun are in the future…give annie and eric more affection this season…all the fighting is getting old…she needs to loose her attitude…
Very happy to hear that 7th Heaven will air another season. Hopefully more. I know so many people who were saddened to hear it would go off the air. Hurrah. It’s back. Nice clean show. All the cast are good actors. What comes across is something we lost long ago. A CLEAN HEART WARMING SHOW. I am tired of watching television shows with nudity and foul language. That is not acting. I’m so so so very very glad that 7 Heaven is coming back when the show went off I cry my heart out and to read the show is coming back i’m crying all over again an that’s a good thing much love.
OMG…..i am so excited that 7th HEaven is returning. actually one of my friends got me hooked on this show in 2000 or something. now she thinks it should of ended but i dont i want to know whose the father of sandy’s baby, and matt’s wife and mary having twins and also i want to know if i heard correctly that lucy miscarriaged the twins….i mean come on that was pretty cool matt’s wife and mary and lucy having twins…ok maybe i’m blowing this way out of porportion but lucy already kinda went through that whole miscarriage thing. anyways….when… Read more »
thanks so much for bringing back 7th heaven but i dont think you should stop after the 11th season.
so many people will watch it especially if you go until the 15th season or something! people dont want it to come back again just for one season…we want at least 2 more seasons!

Did you know that Lucy has a miscariage? I think that is so stupid because the other people are never on the show so they should have had them have the miscarriages not Lucy, that is absurd! OH, and I don’t think Ruthy will be back for the first few episodes, they are saying that she is on a foreign exchange trip or something like that. and does anybody know who is the Dad of Sandy’s baby? I am pleased that “7th Heaven” is coming back for what should now be called “Eleventh Heaven.” I would have missed keeping up with the Camdens.
The eleventh season will begin on 9/25.

i LOVE 7th heaven and am soo happy 2 c it return for another season and even more after that cause its the best and i can relate 2 it i even got my mom and bro into it and i really didnt think i could get him into it so it must be good…. When is it startin? i have heard soo many stories on when it is i have hears the 18 of sep. the 19 and the 25 of sep. so does any1 know for sure on when its startin.
Um seriously???? I thought the Aaron Spelling was dead. People are really excited about show whose big happy ending is everbody geting pregnant with twins. Whoa the apocalypse really is upon us. Well at least cute babies will make up for the sub par acting. And the poor actors who sold their souls to the devil (I mean Brenda Hampton) for food will just have to suffer longer. But maybe if we’re lucky this season Ruthie and the hound of hell (Happy) will both get pregnant.
