TV show description:
A coming-of-age story, this TV show is based on the best-selling novel by Nick Hornby.
After writing a hit song, Will Freeman (David Walton) didn’t have to worry about working ever again. It brought him a life of free time, free love, and freedom from financial woes. He’s single, unemployed and loving it. He’s seen how the other half live through his best friend — Andy (Al Madrigal), a thoroughly whipped stay-at-home dad — and wants no part of it.
Things get interesting when needy single mom Fiona (Minnie Driver) and her oddly charming 11-year-old son, Marcus (Benjamin Stockham), move in next door to Will and disrupt his perfect world.
When Marcus begins dropping by his home unannounced, Will’s not so sure about being a kid’s new best friend — until Will discovers that women find single dads irresistible. That changes everything and a deal is made: Marcus will pretend to be Will’s son and in return, Marcus is allowed to chill at Will’s house — playing Ping-Pong and gorging on steaks, something his very vegan mom would never allow.
Before he knows it, Will starts to enjoy the visits and even finds himself looking out for the kid. In fact, this newfound friendship starts to teach him a few things about himself and about caring for others.

About a Boy cancelled? You have GOT to be kidding me? And the asinine moronic robots in programming cannot figure out why viewers are abandoning Network TV like rats from a sinking ship a fleeing to Netflix, ShowTime, Starz, HBO and etc. Come ON people! There is PLACE for trash and that place is cable shows, there is ALSO a place for Americana, shows that take back to a time of values and “The American Dream.” Network Television is the safe haven for “Norman Rockwell” America, a place where we can watch heartwarming shows that are funny and sly, but… Read more »
