FX has found some nice success with The Americans. Now, NBC is trying their own version of the Russian spy premise called Allegiance. Will it be a hit in the ratings? Cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned to find out.
On the Allegiance TV show, Katya and Mark O’Connor (Hope Davis and Scott Cohen) and their daughter Natalie (Margarita Levieva) are part of a dormant Russian sleeper cell that has just been reactivated. Their mission is to turn son Alex (Gavin Stenhouse), an idealistic CIA analyst, into a spy. Others in the cast are Morgan Spector, Kenneth Choi, and Alex Peters.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
3/6 update: NBC has cancelled and pulled this drama after five episodes. Episodes will be released online.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Allegiance TV series? Would you like to see it cancelled or renewed for a second season?
They should not let the son know. He works for the Fbi.It seems like he is not doing his job and he is doing there job.
Stupid to cancel a show so soon. Give it time to develop an audience. Get rid of the crap reality shows.
I loved this show and I was so disappointed when it was canceled.I can not believe they keep some of the TV shows on that are so creepy and stupid and cancel the good ones,I was thinking maybe some other network would pick it up but I guess by now the actors have moved on to other parts too bad it was a good show.

They have to find a way to tell their son that they will be killed if he doesn’t go along with the plan. It puts him in a precarious position and one that leaves us wanting more. Unfortunately, because of low ratings, we will never… Read more »
