Fans of the short-lived series Angel from Hell will be happy. According to TVInsider, CBS will air the remaining episodes of the cancelled sitcom in July.
The comedy, which starred Jane Lynch and Maggie Lawson, was cancelled and pulled after five episodes back in February.
You can catch back-to-back episodes of Angel from Hell on CBS, beginning Saturday, July 2nd, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The remaining episodes will run through July 23rd.
What do you think? Did you watch Angel from Hell before it got cancelled? Will you watch the few episodes left?
So very disappointed ANGEL FROM HELL was cancelled. CBS DOES IT AGAIN, always canceling the funny shows. Should have given it more time to air before pulling it off air. STOP putting those dumb reality shows on air. They are a big waste of a show. Put back”on ANGEL FROM HELL.
I so totally agree – I don’t waste my time on reality shows.
I was shocked and disappointed when CBS cancelled this hilarious, clever show. I was delighted when my DVR picked up the broadcasts on July 2. This is one of the funniest intelligent shows on network TV in a while. I will watch all remaining episodes with “glee”. Acually I did not Glee but love Jane Lynch in this show. It is perfect for her.
Loved this show. Very Upset that it got cancelled. This is why I hate watching anything new on CBS, because they are always cancelling the good shows.
Smart idea. It was silly to cancel so early, since the full season had already been shot. Maybe another season will get picked up. It is a good casted and scripted effort.
I really enjoyed the show and was shocked they had pulled it. I thought the writing was clever and witty and the two main characters had good chemistry and rapport. Here’s hoping it gets high enough ratings this summer to make CBS reconsider it!
My girlfriend and I loved this show. Cancelling it was a tragic and shamefull decision by CBS. This is why we barely watch their network any more.
Great show, my girlfriend and I loved it. Shameful that it was cancelled so soon. This is why we barely watch CBS at all.
Great show, CBS has a habit of cancelling great shows to make room for new dogs. They think will and are better, wrong. Bring this show back!
Yeeeesssss, was gutted when they cancelled the show. 2 great actresses playing 2 great characters. What is CBS thinking
Million Moms need a new hobby. There are plenty of fictional angels out there, this is just another. They don’t seem to mind FOX’s Lucifer. Oh, that’s right, FOX is a Republican network, so it’s alright. Hey, Moms… Pftftftttt !
Yet another funny and original show. Why do you even waste your time making ANY shows. If they are copies of another network…then you keep them on forever……why not give people a chance to FIND a show before you cancel? One more reason to stop watching CBS.
I watched it and found it funny in an odd sort of way. It was different than most of the current sitcoms. Hopefully CBS will change their mind!
Please, none of you watch these. I know they are just burn offs but please don’t watch them.
I’ll be watching! I’ve been trying to track down the remaining episodes since it was pulled, out of the blue. It makes me so angry…Jane Lynch clearly had her choice of projects, after Glee. I thought this show was the perfect answer to people who miss the traditional sitcom. While it was very well written, was star studded, and a perfect vehicle for Lynch, CBS was not the right outlet. The religious groups were out for blood as soon as they disliked the promo poster.
It wasn’t pulled because of the ratings. There was something Hokey going on. Some religious group protested the show and got CBS to cancel it. Shame on CBS for giving in.
