TV show description:
Charlie Goodson (Charlie Sheen) is a non-traditional therapist who specializes in anger management. He has a successful private practice and holds sessions with his group of primary patient regulars each week. He also hosts pro bono counseling sessions for an inmate group at a state prison.
Prior to his becoming a therapist, Charlie was a stalled minor league baseball prospect. His road to the majors was sidetracked by his own struggle with anger issues. After a stint in therapy with the team’s psychologist, Kate Wales (Selma Blair), he made it to the majors and had one terrific season before his anger issues put him on the shelf for good. In the final game of his career, he tried to snap a bat over his leg, which resulted in a career-ending injury. That injury led him back to school and his current profession.
Charlie thrives on the chaos in his life while still battling his own anger issues. His life is complicated by his relationships with his therapist/best friend/sex partner Kate; his beautiful ex-wife Jennifer (Shawnee Smith) — whose positive outlook, but poor choice in men, frustrates Charlie; and their 13-year-old daughter, Sam (Daniela Bobadilla), who has OCD.
On top of that, he has to try to help his patients, like Patrick (Michael Arden), who have plenty of problems of their own. Lacey (Noureen DeWulf) is a spoiled rich girl who’s sent to join Charlie’s group after she shot her cheating boyfriend. Nolan (Derek Richardson) has the strangest anger issue of all — he has no anger.
Episode #100 — Charlie & the 100th Episode
Charlie has to make a decision between keeping his group and being a sports psychologist for his former baseball team. He takes the job for awhile but it’s not what he’d expected and he happily returns to helping his group.
First aired: December 22, 2014
What do you think? Do you think Anger Management should have been cancelled or renewed for a third season?
GREAT SHOW I REALLY LIKE IT.ABSOLUTLY CONTINUE THE SHOW
First, always been a fan of Charlie’s. But am I the only person who thinks it is well passed time for him to take on a role that doesn’t have him running around like a drunken teenaged higs-schooler? He is looking so old and worn out these days, it makes him look so pathetic. Plus, am I the only one who was hoping FX would do something better/other than recycling his role as Charlie Harper (Two and A Half Men)? I was pleased when the show started and his show was quite different and focused with some direction. More pleased… Read more »
Thanks Check out Supernatural. That is exactly what I was thinking. Hope the writers can get the show back on track or maybe Sheen can kiss and make up with Two and A Half Men. I would even go back to watching Sheen Do that if they could get it together. I am a big Sheen fan as well. Thank again.
Cancel it; he is starting to act crazy again. Name calling, even Denise Richards, who watched his kids of Brooke, while she went into rehab. Got mad cause Denise didn’t ask him to join her and her kids on Christmas.
More Anger Management please.
Funny show! Funny guy! Better than the other show Charlie was on!
AWESOME SHOW !
CHARLIE SHEEN AND THE REST OF THE CAST IS GREAT.
I REALLY LOVE THIS SHOW.
As an actor Charlie Sheen is great. I loved him on 2 and a half men, don’t like Kucher, so I quit watching. Loved Anger Management and hope it returns.
Anger Management should definately return. Great show and so is Charlie!
Very funny show! Charlie and cast have what it takes! Can’t wait until it returns

Hey Charlie, great show
U B right. Guess my mind took a cab. Happens to the best of us.
Funny show! May have another hit. Great cast surrounding him in Shawnee Smith (Becker), Brett Butler (Grace Under Fire) and character actor Frances Sternhagen (Dad in the Closer) to name a few. Hope following eps. are just as good.
Duane, Frances Sternhagen was Mom in The Closer. Actor Barry Corbin was Dad.
