Anne with an E is coming back soon. Recently, it was announced season two of the Netflix TV show has begun filming.
Based on the Anne of Green Gables book series, the Canadian drama centers on Anne Shirley (Amybeth McNulty), a 13-year-old orphan who moves in with two middle-aged siblings who meant to adopt a boy. The cast also includes Geraldine James, R.H. Thomson, Dalila Bela, Corinne Koslo, Aymeric Jett Montaz, Helen Johns, Lucas Jade Zumann, and Christian Martyn.
On Twitter, the Writers Guild of Canada announced season two of Anne with an E has begun filming (with an all-female writing staff to boot). Neither CBC nor Netflix have announced a premiere date yet.

I have seen Anne with an E twice now since my husband had an interest in watching the series. Today we finished Season 1 and are so happy to read here that filming began a few months ago and can’t wait to see Season 2! This story is so heartwarming and fulfills our every wish to see good wholesome entertainment. And we believe the producers picked the perfect Anne.
We have enjoyed watching this series and I did not want to see it end. I am so excited to learn there will be a season 2!!!

My family just got hooked on Anne with an E! I think the writing is wonderful and the actors are so believable. What a delight to come across a show that portrays real human struggles, supports strong morals, and expands a few vocabularies along the way! We look forward to the next season.

Looking forward! It will air on the CBC before it will show on Netflix, so I presume that the spoilers will be on the Annetheseries twitter while the Annewithane twitter will be spoiler free.
They can’t be filming the episodes in order since the cliff-hanger to be resolved took place in winter and it’s still fall …

You have mispelled the name of the young actor who plays Jerry Baynard. It is Aymeric Jett Montaz and not Aymeric Jeff.

I hope this show makes it to 7 ssns, or at least 5 & they give us more eps per ssn. Loved S1. Felt like I was watching a great long movie instead of a series. Amybeth McNulty’s amazing. Hard to see her with a different personality.
Our whole family enjoyed season one, we are excited and look forward to family time together watching season two, Anne with an E once again.
I absolutely hated this version of the beloved children’s classic. It was so dark, and drab, and veered too far from the book. I stopped watching before the last episode and won’t bother with season 2 as I read that the plot takes an even greater divergence from the books.
