Banshee is coming to an end on Cinemax according to TVLine.
Per the report, the upcoming fourth season of Banshee will be the show’s last. On the positive side, the producers knew going in that season four would be the end so they’ve had time to craft a big series finale.
The fourth and final season of eight episodes will debut sometime in 2016.

This is crazy all these shows being cancelled. How about polling the people that actually watch these shows and love them. Shall I list them… Son’s of Anarchy, Dallas, Strike Back, Banshee and Longmire ???? But you will leave the weird Zombie and Vampire shows on ???

Guess that will be the end of Cinemax for me. All their best is now gone . I will be cancelling my subscription when Banshee ends.

I’m shocked that Cinemax cancelled Banshee 🙁 It’s a great series with non stop action! Please reconsider renewing it again.
First strike back and now banshee . I dont know the producers over at Cinemax are doing but I can’t really understand how canceling your two best TV shows could possibly be good for your viewers
I guess he can only keep his secret of not being a real cop for so long. Best show on TV! Hate to see it end. Hope they due the ending justice!
As much of a fan of this show as I am, ending it might be a good thing. I mean, how much longer can he assume that identity with everything that is going on in a “small town”. Last season it was kind of getting that jump the shark feeling with all the gun fights and what not, yet he is never truly investigated. Either they had to end it on a high note or totally reboot the show and then it there wouldn’t be a point, because it just wouldn’t have that same feel.
I can’t believe it! One of the most incredibly entertaining shows on television! They are ending it too soon! I definitely believe that there should be a fifth season. I think there is a lot of story left that they can tell. A lot of characters in the series they have barely scratched the surface on. I am very disappointed to hear this horrible news. “Banshee” is one of my favorite shows, so of course they decided to cancel it! It is one of the better shows on TV, with a great storyline, action, actors, etc. Maybe Netflix will pick it up like they picked up “Longmire”, another favorite show of mine that got cancelled!
What is mentally wrong with Cinemax? Banshee their BEST SHOW!!!!!!! They should be renewing it for more seasons!!!!!!!!
