Banshee is coming to an end on Cinemax according to TVLine.
Per the report, the upcoming fourth season of Banshee will be the show’s last. On the positive side, the producers knew going in that season four would be the end so they’ve had time to craft a big series finale.
The fourth and final season of eight episodes will debut sometime in 2016.

Why ? It’s only ben four years. Banshee could go at least 7. To me it ranks right up there with Son of Anarchy. Please don’t kill another good series I’m tired of all the great series getting cancelled and the ones that are iffy are still on. Please run Banshee longer. Be smart! .

One of the best shows ever! Should have gone at least 8 seasons like Dexter. Maybe should have been shown on HBO rather than Cinemax.
I would like to watch a 5th season of Banshee if it would tie up and finish off the bad guys like proctor
One of the best adult shows to be on screen…I did not miss a scene and have gone back and watched them over again and again. All the characters were and are great to watch… but I understand why it cannot go further… ciaofornow
I found the show very entertaining so of course they will end it, the show has been so dynamic and has used up most of its characters…so I think it might be in a place to end…..hope Joon comes back in the 4th season… over all the show was very good… I can still remember all the people in the scenes….yaaah69
This show is incredible. I ordered Cinemax just so I could watch Banshee. The writing is fantastic, better than any show on any network. PLEASE do NOT cancel this series.
