It wouldn’t be summer on CBS without Big Brother. Will this show continue to be a winner in the ratings for the network? Will it be cancelled or renewed for season 19? Stay tuned.
Hosted by Julie Chen, Big Brother typically airs three nights a week — Wednesdays (veto), Thursdays (eviction), and Sundays. This time around, the new contestants are Paul Abrahamian, Victor Arroyo, Corey Brooks, Paulie Calafiore, Bronte D’Acquisto, Bridgette Dunning, Zakiyah Everette, Jozea Flores, Glenn Garcia, Michelle Meyer, Natalie Negrotti, and Tiffany Rousso. Returning houseguests from past seasons are Da’Vonne Rogers, Frank Eudy, James Huling, and Nicole Franzel.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
9/15 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.

For comparisons: The eviction editions of the 17th season of Big Brother averaged a 1.98 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 6.09 million viewers.
Note: These are the final national numbers (unless noted with an “*”). These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Big Brother TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a 19th season?
What a mess, lol
Hopefully, the ratings for this garbage are low enough that CBS dumps it at last. The first line of the trailer got it right: Big BOTHER!
