TV show description:      
This comedy/drama series focuses on a family trying to adjust after the mom leaves to pursue a life and career for herself.

Blossom Russo (Mayim Bialik) is the teenage girl of the family and is known being quite quirky both in her actions and style of dress. Her dad, Nick (Ted Wass), does everything he can to take care of his family after his wife leaves. He’s a session musician who seems to be constantly looking for a new gig.

Blossom’s oldest brother Anthony (Michael Stoyanov) is recovering from addictions to drugs and alcohol. The family’s middle child is Joey (Joey Lawrence), a lovable but dim-witted jock who frequently misunderstands what’s going on around him. “Whoa!”

Outside of her family, Blossom’s best friend is the uniquely named Six LeMeure (Jenna von Oy). She tends to talk very quickly, often rambling on at a pace where she’s no longer being understood.

Celebrities and characters such as Mr. T, ALF, The Golden Girl’s Sophia Petrillo (Estelle Getty) and Hugh Hefner visit Blossom in fantasy sequences, with The Cosby Show’s Phylicia Rashad playing Blossom’s idea of the perfect mom.
