How’s life in Hope Valley during the fifth season of the When Calls the Heart TV show on Hallmark? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like When Calls the Heart is cancelled or renewed for season six. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. A Hallmark western family drama, When Calls the Heart stars Erin Krakow, Daniel Lissing, Lori Loughlin, Jack Wagner, Martin Cummins, Pascale Hutton, and Kavan Smith. Inspired by the Janette Oke novel, the Hallmark TV series centers on Elizabeth Thatcher (Krakow), a young teacher from a high society background. When she is assigned to teach in a coal country classroom, her life completely changes, particularly when she meets Royal North West Mounted Policie Constable Jack Thornton (Lissing).

Best show on tv! After watching episode 9 worried about Jack! The show needs him so I’m hoping I’m wrong on what they suggested happened to Jack! Would not be the same without Jack!
I am really glad it has been renewed for a 6th season. There are so few wholesome shows. I do hope, however, that Jack’s death is a mistake and he is not really dead. That would be heartbreaking.
Please please tell me that Jack is not dead…. he and Elizabeth are the bond that keeps Hope Valley together in true Hallmark tradition. I can’t bear it if he’s been written out of the story by dying. They just got married
Please don’t cancel “When calls the Heart” I love this show
When Calls the Heart is my favorite TV show by far. Its characters exemplify good morals, courage, and compassion. The children are shown to be respectful toward adults as well as classmates. There is no foul language. It is a good drama laced with sweet humor. Why aren’t there more shows like this?
Please do not discontinue the series. There are so few good TV shows. This is one of the best. I hope there is a season six and I hope that there has been some mistake and Jack is not really dead
I love When Calls the Heart I watch it every Sunday night and I also DVR it to watch again later please continue to renew my favorite show of all time.

Not even the end of the season and I cannot believe the cliffhanger. If it ends of how it looks…i will be SO disappointed.

When calls the Heart is one of the best new series on TV the actors and actresses are outstanding and fit roles to the mark…. I really wish the series would last longer each time.
I just decovered this show on Netflix. I am hooked. I can’t get enough. I have already watch all the season 3X already in two weeks. Please give me lots lots lots more
I thoroughly enjoy this series. It is refreshing to find a wholesome series where people take time to court and get to know each other without rushing into sex and in fact wait for marriage. I like that the language is clean, God is present and people support each other. Please keep this show. I love it. I not only watch it but watch it over and over on on demand. Thanks for wholesome programming.
Yes please keep the show for season 6. I love the story and the characters All the actors are fabulous It truly shows hope for families suffering and teaching the values and morals through faith love by sharing helping and trusting and forgiving
I enjoy this show very much, it’s a sweet show and great to watch something where people are actually kind to one another. I love the beauty of the town and the era it’s set in.
