The competition for ratings on Monday nights is getting tougher and Castle’s ratings were already on the decline last season. Will it survive to see a sixth season or will it be cancelled after more than 100 episodes? Stay tuned.
The fifth season of Castle typically airs Monday nights at 10pm on the ABC network. The cast includes Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic, Jon Huertas, Molly Quinn, Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Seamus Dever, Susan Sullivan, and Tamala Jones.

Year-to-year, the Castle debut was down by 34% in the demo (vs a 3.2 rating) and down by 21% in viewers (vs 13.28 million). It was the lowest demo since April 2012 and the lowest viewership since February 2012.
Reference point: The 2011-12 season averaged a 2.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 10.71 million viewers.

If this show is cancelled then America will have very little TV entertainment for this started out as the premier show on television as a fill in! The Boys at ABC better wake up and smell the coffee, for if cancelled Castle will be aired by other networks for sure! Great Cast and great stories of love and intrige for even our children to see! You don’t have to have porn or nudity to get excited for it is in the details unseen or unsaid!

Please please please renew Castle. It is my faverite show. I must say though that I agree with bigbird. The last couple of episodes, I missed the sword play,” as Stana put it in one of their interviews”. A little flirting, sneaking a kiss, more romantic eye contact and their fabulious chemistry, their charming wit would keep me hooked for several more seasons. They didn’t WIN that Peoples Choice award for nothing. It just needs more HEAT.
I’d love it to continue for another two seasons, but the last few episodes have been awful and most of the fans want the old format back. It won’t be the fans fault that it’s going to be cancelled, the writers are doing a great job in killing it!!!

I love Castle! It is one of the only shows that I am still watching that is past 5 seasons. It keeps it’s audience intrigued and I don’t know what I would do without it. Please keep Castle around.

Make Season 5 it’s last season
I love the show. I came into it late but it is one of the few that I watch that I really enjoy. Please keep it going. It is one of the few shows that does not focus on the female character dressing too sexy for her job. The character interactions are great. The plots are good. Of course, it is like all others where the two major chaacters are attracted to each other, fight it, then eventually come together. Then where do they go from there?
I wish it was on at 9pm on Mondays because it airs the exact same time as Hawaii Five 0. Certainly a conflict of interest because I too started watching on TNT and I wish I started watching it sooner. It’s fantastic.
OMG!! Do NOT cancel this show! It’s like my fav TV show and if it were to be canceled I would not be happy! I would give bad reviews of this and I would literally rebel and tell I everyone I no not to watch any show on this channel! DO NOT cancel!! :'(
