While some of the other networks are stretching out the premieres of their 2012-13 shows, almost all of CBS’ new and returning shows will debut during the week of September 24th. The one exception is Survivor. The 25th cycle of that reality show will premiere September 19th.
Returning shows are 2 Broke Girls (season two), 48 Hours Mystery (26th season), The Amazing Race (cycle 21), The Big Bang Theory (season six), Blue Bloods (third season), Criminal Minds (season eight), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (13th season), CSI: New York (season nine), The Good Wife (fourth season), Hawaii Five-0 (season three), How I Met Your Mother (eighth season), The Mentalist (season five), Mike & Molly (third season), NCIS (season 10), NCIS: Los Angeles (fourth season), Person of Interest (season two), Survivor (cycle 25), and Two and a Half Men (10th season).
The network’s new fall shows are Elementary, Made in Jersey, Partners, and Vegas. Additional details about them can be found here.
ABC hasn’t released their premiere plans yet but NBC, FOX and The CW have.

CBS, America’s most-watched network, will premiere virtually all of its new and returning series during official premiere week (Sept. 24-30).
The new comedy PARTNERS premieres Monday, Sept. 24, followed by freshman dramas VEGAS debuting Tuesday, Sept. 25, ELEMENTARY on Thursday, Sept. 27 and MADE IN JERSEY on Friday, Sept. 28.
For the 10th time in the past 11 seasons, SURVIVOR will get an early start to the season, returning with a special 90-minute premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 19.

I will watch Blue Bloods, CSI:NY, NCIS, Hawaii 5o, Mentalist, Person of Interest, NCIS: Los Angelos, CBS is my favorite stations. My brother lives in Lake county they also watch all these shows and my sister lives n Waconda and her whole family of four also watch, plus they watch The Good wife and say it is great, I only watched it once. Ah, Fall Schedule. Time once again to count on one hand the number of shows I watch on this network. 🙂
Hawaii Five-0, NCIS: LA, Person of Interest, Elementary (will try, not expecting to like), and CSI: NY (so glad they didn’t cancel it!).
Fabulous-I can now plan to watch only 4 CBS shows since they cancelled my ultimate fav CSI Miami, and there are not many shows on any channel that hold my interest. Now I can save more money by cancelling my satellite system and going to various clients/friends’ homes, and watching their TVs while I pursue my personal chef duties. Thanks CBS, NBC, Fox, and ABC (I will still have someone record Revenge and TNT’s Dallas), as well as the various cable channels, I can finally say I am almost TV free.
