CBS has the most total viewers but that doesn’t mean that your favorite shows are necessarily safe. After all, with so many successful shows, they can be picky. Is your favorite CBS TV series returning or has it already been cancelled? What TV shows have already been renewed for another season?
Here’s a list of all of the regular CBS series that have aired (or are expected to air) during the 2011-12 season (what we’re calling roughly September 2011 to August 2012).
Using this “cheat sheet” you can tell where your favorite CBS TV series stands; how many episodes are in the current season, when it’ll be back on the air and, of course, if it’s already been renewed or cancelled.
If you can’t find a particular CBS program on this list, it may have been cancelled last season (2010-11) or perhaps the one before (2009-10). For a list of cancelled shows from all networks, you can go here. It may also be possible that we missed something so feel free to let us know in the comments below.
NOTE: This page is no longer being updated. You can find newer versions here.
Here are listings for the other networks: ABC | The CW | FOX | NBC
What do you think? Which CBS TV shows won’t be renewed? Are there any that you wish would be cancelled?

My absolute favorite show right now – Person of Interest. I hope they keep it.
My other CBS Favs: Blue Bloods, HI 5-0, Mentalist, Criminal Minds (why does that show never get any nominations?), Good Wife, and BB Theory.
2 Broke Girls is a funny show; I’d like to see how far they can go, business & language wise. NCIS is great; NCIS LA may not stick around long. The Mentalist is terrific, as is The Big Bang Theory. 2 and A Half Men is probably on its way out; show is starting to lose it’s humor. It seems all the women are interested in Weldon’s package; even Alan’s mom (which was inevitable). Criminal Minds should hang around a few more seasons; this may be the last go round for the CSI group, although CSI NY is hanging in… Read more »
amazing race sucks
Is it true that Criminal Minds is ending this season? Heard a rumor…
Gina » Not that I’ve heard.
Get rid of NCIS LA. It is the worst. These guys, actually all of them NEVER get hit, grazed by a bullet, never get hurt, never bloodied. I liek the cast just NOT the unreality (is that a word? now it is) of the show. It is so unreal it makes me sick. Well, not anymore as I will not watch it. Yeah, CSI NY, Sela Ward does not represent NY in any fashion, get rid of her. Get Rid of Fatter & Jollier – well, they are funny, scratch that. 2 1/2 men is gone gone gone. Kutcher should… Read more »
Who ever want’s to cancel blue bloods is an idiot, a show that should end is 2 broke girls it’s not funny and a little offensive.
I love all the CSI’s, The Mentalist, Criminal Minds, Mike and Molly but 2-1/2 men without Charlie Sheen stinks. Ashton Kutcher looks like a wild man that has escaped from a zoo. Give me boozing, skirt chasing Charlie any day.
Rules of Engagment is hilarious can’t wait for it to return. I have had enough of How I Met Your Mother, let’s find out how he met their moyher and end it. Still like The Mentalist, Blue Bloods, Mike & Molly, Hawaii Five- O, The Good Wife. The jury is still out on 2 broke girls & A Gifted Man.
Two and a Half Men really stinks this year. Its lost its magic. Sheen must return or this show is over. The actor who took Charleys part is terrible, at least on this show. I will be skipping this show from now on.
NCIS, NCIS LA and The Mentalist are all staying. Ncis is the highest rated scriptied show, besides 2/1/2 men on CBS so that show is not going anywhere until Mark (Hammon or is thta Harrmon.. i get his last name mixed up) wants too quit.. and the Mentalist is a must to come back.. that show changed time slots alot the first 2 season and its still here cause its great. I thought 2 broke girls got a full order ?? that would mean 22 epsoides not 13.
I say A Gifted Man sounds dumb..i never watched it..
kevin » You’re correct about 2 Broke Girls getting a full season order. For some reason that update didnt stick but it’s fixed now. Actually, NCIS is no longer the second highest rated show on CBS. It’s the sixth — behind Men, 2 Broke Girls, Big Bang, HIMYM, and Mike & Molly. It is the highest rated drama though.
[…] ratings for the 2011-12 season, the best way to tell if NCIS: Los Angeles is going to be cancelled or renewed for season four. These figures will be updated as the weeks progress so be sure to bookmark and […]
Please keep: Criminal Minds, CSI NY, NCIS, NCIS Los Angeles, The Mentalist, Person of Interest.
Please get rid of CSI Miami!!!! That lead guy and the girl in the supporting role are TERRIBLE actors!!!
Cancel CSI-NY because it is not the same with sela ward. she stinks
I hate Sela Ward’s character, too, and miss Stella terribly, but I still care about the other CSI: NY characters and wouldn’t want the only “good” CSI (in my opinion) to be cancelled!
A Gifted Man, Person of Interest, The 2-2, Blue Bloods, Two and a Half Men, Rules of Engagement and 2 Broke Girls should all go at the end of the season.
I heard that ION acquired the U.S. broadcasting rights of Flashpoint from CBS and will be showing new, original episodes of it starting October 18th in a Tuesday two hour block airing 10pm to 12am, which’ll be repeated on Saturday. I’m not sure what’s going on there, but I’ll be tuning in to see what’s up.
