NBC has decided to pre-empt Chase once again but this time it’s looking a lot more permanent. The network has put the TV series on hiatus and replaced it with episodes of Minute to Win It. Though the network has not officially cancelled Chase, there’s certainly no compelling reason for NBC to bring it back.
Back in September, Chase debuted to mediocre ratings and things went quickly downhill from there. On Monday nights, Chase averaged just a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a meager 5.44 million viewers. When the series moved to Wednesday nights for the new year, the ratings only got worse. It’s currently the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.
NBC pre-empted Chase this week and replaced it with a double dose of Minute to Win It. That move paid off with the game show literally doubling the demo performance of Chase’s last original episode. Not surprisingly, NBC has now bumped the remaining episodes of Chase from the schedule.
The peacock network had given the show a full season order back in October but by December had trimmed that back from 22 to 18 installments. There are currently five unaired episodes of Chase on the shelf and there’s no word from NBC on when or if they’ll ever be aired.

I really liked Chase. This is another new fall show that NBC has cancelled. It is getting to the point that I am going to start watching the other networks because NBC is really starting to get under my skin.
The wife and I love Chase. The people on the show do great jobs on the episodes. Please bring it back. Weare faithful to NBC.

I can’t believe you canceled Chase! I have never been a fan of NBC but Chase’s plot and characters captured me right away. Guess I will have to rely on ABC and CBS for all the great shows on TV. I also think the ratings could have been helped with a little bit of creative advertising, but I guess the chance for that will never come. I think you at NBC pulled the plug on this show too soon, and it looks like you lost some of your audience as well.
i need chase! please bring it back! or at least the last 5 shows that havent been aired. this bums me out and ruined my whole week.
I think that stinks. Just like every show I have enjoyed it gets cancelled right when it gets good. 90210,party of five,everybody loves raymond……..come one already. There are people that actually watch this!!!!!!!!!!

Probably the best new show on TV and it might be cancelled. I really like that show. Please give it a chance. Those silly game shows that do real well for a year or two and then disappear really are not a good replacement for a show like Chase.

I love Chase! It’s my favorite show, and the only one I actually like to watch. NBC needs to bring it back.
I loved chase. It was confusing to keep finding it when you changed nights. I would love to see it back on
Im very dissappointed with this. My family and I also enjoy watching this show. Please reconsider and keep this show on the air. Chase has alot of fans who enjoys watching this show and I am one of them. The whole cast is wonderful, especially Annie Frost character. I totally agree with Ms. Willams’s comment. I was also a fan of the show “Trauma” and that was canceled too. What is going on with NBC?
Our family loves CHASE, please don’t cancel it. We watched it on Monday night and followed it to Wednesday-well worth it. We looked forward to watching it and canceling Feb 9th show was very disappointing. We actually rushed home just to watch it. We turned off the TV and just went to bed. we are not happy 🙁
I cannot believe that Chase is being cancelled!!! It’s on of the best shows right now!! My husband and I love it and it is a show that the kids can watch too, most of the time.
I hope NBC decides to keep the show if not hopefully one of the other major channels will pick it up.
