NBC has decided to pre-empt Chase once again but this time it’s looking a lot more permanent. The network has put the TV series on hiatus and replaced it with episodes of Minute to Win It. Though the network has not officially cancelled Chase, there’s certainly no compelling reason for NBC to bring it back.
Back in September, Chase debuted to mediocre ratings and things went quickly downhill from there. On Monday nights, Chase averaged just a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a meager 5.44 million viewers. When the series moved to Wednesday nights for the new year, the ratings only got worse. It’s currently the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.
NBC pre-empted Chase this week and replaced it with a double dose of Minute to Win It. That move paid off with the game show literally doubling the demo performance of Chase’s last original episode. Not surprisingly, NBC has now bumped the remaining episodes of Chase from the schedule.
The peacock network had given the show a full season order back in October but by December had trimmed that back from 22 to 18 installments. There are currently five unaired episodes of Chase on the shelf and there’s no word from NBC on when or if they’ll ever be aired.

i love this show . Iwas so disappointed to see a game show replaced it . i certainly do’nt watch that. nbc needs to wake up , they replace law and order with law and order los angles and now chase. I am a big law and order fan but i can not get into the new one , so i have switched to another station

I liked it a lot. Love the cast. Terrible time slot. Wish they would give it another season.
This is one of the best shows on TV. NBC made a dumb move and put it up against Hawaii 5-0, which is another awesome show. I think it is a nig mistake to cancel the show. All of the characters are awesome and I love the show all around. They should bring it back, but on a different night so it’s not going against TV series that have been running longer than this one.
my wife and i loved chase–it certainly is better than some of the other dumb shows the network is keeping–i hope they at least show the remaining episodes-maybe this summer instead of re-runs of the dumb shows–thanks
I think that is crap that they are going to cancel. Really crap that they replaced it with that crap of a show Win In a Minute

My husband and I both liked the show. Please bring it back. Lots of friends agree with us.
I am definitely missing this show which I loved because of it’s high action which kept me on the edge of my seat. We have enough reality shows now and the majority of them suck. Please bring back CHASE for us action lovers.

I am 67 and I love this show! I truely hate to see it go the way of Outlaw which I also watched. Yes, I have to tape them and watch later just like I am now doing with Harry’s Law, because I also tape the other two major network shows. Too bad 3 great shows on at the same time. What’s with all this competition? I hate all those so called reality shows. Sorry but I never lived that way nor do I want too or want to watch others make IDOTS of themselves.
