Telly’s Take
After a lackluster first season, some significant changes were made to Code Back for season two. Unfortunately, the changes didn’t seem to help and the ratings have gotten even worse. I suspect that Code Back will be cancelled by May. The television vulture is preparing to call a time of death on this medical drama.
5/14 update: CBS has renewed Code Black for a third season. Details here.

What do you think? Were you hoping that the Code Black TV show would be renewed for a third season? Would you have been upset if this CBS show had been cancelled instead?
Me and my fiance will be devastated if Code Black is cancelled!!!!, Please CBS, don’t do it!!!!;
LOVE Code Black.
Please bring the show back!
Love this show!! Please bring it back.
My husband and I love this show! Please continue the series for a third season!
I think should have a series 3. I have watched both series in 1 week. Love it x
I love this show. I hope it is coming back. One of my favs along with NCIS, Bull and my super fav NCIS New Orleans. Cancel that other mess you have but leave this show alone!!!!!!
My husband and I really enjoy Code Black. It not only keeps you on the edge of your seat, but also has an emotional and tender tone. We would be disappointed if you cancel this show.
I’ve never made inputs on any tv programming b4. I’m compelled to write now. This drama program is on par with very few superior programs such as hill street blues, ER, NYPD blue, law and order SVU, the good wife…. More needs be said? Please imagine how many others such as I (no prior inputs) feel as I do. In the gigantic drama desert as large as the world’s largest desert (Antarctic polar desert), the few existing viewer oases shouldn’t be drained! As a phrase once coined in one of the drama’s above, could you “DO US A SOLID”?!?!?!?!
I would be most disappointed if this show ended. It’s great fun to watch and tackles messy issues with a rare humanity.
Renew!!!! Love, love, love this show!!!!
Love, love, LOVE Code Black!!!! Plsssss renew!
My husband and I both love this show! We get excited when Wednesday rolls around and watch something together. The story lines are engaging and pull you right in. Renew this show for another 5 years! It’s not full of inappropriate bed jumping. Just a fantastic drama with plenty of excitement.
We are in the 60 to 65 age range for demographic purposes.
Do not cancel but turn music down so you can hear the actors. At times in major moments music is so loud dialog is missed.
I love code black and would be devistated if it got cancelled. I watch weekly faithfully. We need more shows about doctors and emergency rooms. Its very educational watching this show. Please please renew.
