It looks like Community may be over for good. The sitcom is not being shopped for a sixth season on another outlet and word is that creator Dan Harmon is ready to move on. He’s working on a second season of the Adult Swim series Rick & Morty and is looking at other projects.
On a podcast from the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Harmon said that he was on his way to the airport when received news of the cancellation.
He noted, “The fans of that show have more reason to be upset than I do. I can try to make another show and also I got paid for every minute I cared about that show. The people that are most devastated are people who put unpaid labor into the show. They didn’t get compensated for it. They loved the show.”
Netflix has been inundated by fan requests to pick up the show but a spokesperson has said that it won’t be happening.
What do you think? Do you think that Community should continue elsewhere or is it time to let it go?

Community is not already dead. Where do you get your “sources”? #sixseasonsandamovie
Another show that should never have aired this long. It was not funny.
