Has Syfy found a big ratings hit with Continuum or will the show fade away like so many others? We’ll have to wait and see how it does.
Continuum typically airs on Monday nights and there are 10 episodes. The show features the talents of Rachel Nichols, Victor Webster, Erik Knudsen, and Stephen Lobo.
Below are the most recent ratings for the first season of Continuum on Syfy. The TV show’s ratings are typically the best way to tell if a series will be cancelled or renewed however the show was renewed for a second season in Canada back in August.

What do you think? Do you like the Continuum TV series? Do you think it should be renewed for a second season or cancelled instead?
This show was absolutely amazing!! The story line was perfect, it is so different from other tv shows because you don’t know if the bad guys are bad or if they are not. I vote this show the best sci fi show right next to fringe. I can’t wait to see what season 2 brings to sci fi. This show has in my opinion made the extra leap of what a legit sci fi should be like. Thanks for making this show and if your deciding weather you should watch this show or not. JUST WATCH IT AND YOU WILL… Read more »
This is a great show. Acting is well above average. Hope SyFy will continue with season two.
Love, love, love this show, continuum! The season finale was THE BEST SEASON FINALE of any show i have ever seen! Cant wait til next season for all the unanswered questions! All the actors are fantastic! My #1 favorite show!
Love the show. I look forward to the next season!!!
I was hooked after only one episode. This is the first smart sci-fi show I’ve seen since Battlestar Galactica. It won a bunch of awards in Canada and I’m hoping Syfy will get the hint and start airing episodes the next day, like they do for Lost Girl.
I love this show. The only show I watch on Syfy.
Love this show. I really hope they let this show grow its audience so we can see it have some kind of resolution at the end. Great Sci Fi television.
This has a lot potential to be a great show. I hope syfy doesn’t give up on this show .
I am also over 50 and still bitter that syfy gave up on sgu.
I read through the Canadian reviews for this show and based my decision to watch it on their reaction. I think we are up to Ep. 5 now and I am finally starting to really like it As with most new shows, it takes time to build a relationship with not just the story, but the cast as well. I had a bit of trouble with the first few episodes, but as the reviewers noted, like a lot of great shows, it takes time to set up a good story and build cast relationships in the story. The show is… Read more »
It’s a keeper. Gets better with every show!
This is a Canadian show on Showtime that Syfy has picked up to air. The first season aired in Canada in Summer 2012 and has been renewed for a 13 episode second season which starts April 2013.
Whether Syfy will have the common sense to pick up the second season is anybody’s guess.
I have waited a year to be able to watch Continuum, and for me, it was worth waiting for. I fall way outside the ‘desired demographic’, but would still like to be counted in the ratings total (hey advertisers: older folks spend money too!). LOVE the show, and hope it has a long run.
Kat – I’ve been waiting six months for it to get to the US! As for the older folks spending money, too, you and I need to get together and start some sort of lobbying group and remind these idiots that those of us over 50 are ALSO human and have a right not to endure the kind of disrespect and bigotry we are experiencing everywhere in the entertainment industry. Can you imagine if they talked about certain races and sexual preferences the way they do about the older generation? I think it is offensive and appalling! Let’s start up… Read more »
if SyFy has any brains and cares at all for veiwers who like good sci-fi with good plots they’ll renew this. or they could be like all the “BIG” boys and drop it for some more “reality” shows. I have viewed episodes 1-8 and find each one better.
This show rocks. Syfy needs more REAL sci-fi like this. So exciting. Hope it does well. I’ll be watching and hope it gets renewed.
It was ok for 1st show. Great twist at the end! Cancer man from the X-Files is in it too.
