Hayley Atwell’s last ABC series, Marvel’s Agent Carter, lasted two seasons before being cancelled. How will Conviction do in the ratings? Will it be renewed for a second season? Stay tuned.
A legal drama series, Conviction follows what happens when attorney Hayes Morrison (Hayley Atwell), the daughter of a former President, gets “blackmailed” into joining the Conviction Integrity Unit. It’s a NYC department that re-examines cases when there is suspicion of wrongful conviction. The rest of the cast includes Eddie Cahill, Shawn Ashmore, Merrin Dungey, Emily Kinney, Manny Montana, and Daniel Franzese.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
4/26 update: Although not officially announced, Conviction has been cancelled by ABC. Details here.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Conviction TV series on ABC? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

I love this show!!! I will be very disappointed if they cancel it.
I love this show!! It’s so much better than any of the other shows that air on Monday nights… please don’t cancel it.
My wife and I look forward to watching this show every week. We haven’t found a show we like to follow every week like Conviction in years. Please don’t cancel this show!

This my favorite show. I look forward to it every week. Cancelling it is a big mistake.
I don’t watch a lot of television but really enjoy this show.
The storylines are great in every episode… as the season goes on the better it gets. Give Conviction another chance! Sunday nights once football is over may show a big jump in the ratings! It’s too good to cancel!
Please do not cancel this show! It was up against too many other things going on in this world. Give it another season and see how it does. Please!
I love conviction! Why is it every time a good series comes on it gets cancelled? I hope you keep it going
I love this series. I love every character and their relationships with each other. I never miss an episode and if I can’t watch I record it. Please keep it going.
Please don’t cancel this show
I LOVE this show. I have a hectic work week schedule so I catch it on demand. The storylines are greats I love the character development that’s happen. Please don’t cancel this show! I can’t remember the last time I got THIS excited about a new show.
I vote to save “Conviction”. I don’t get to watch live but I do record it every week on my DVR, Hayley Atwell and her co star’s make a really good show. Wished “Agent Carter” wasn’t cancelled that to was a good show. Please let Hayley keep her job!!
Another network may be smart enough to look at the big picture. No shows are going to rate high going against Sunday, Monday and Thursday Night Football. Depending on what teems are playing. 18 to 49 watch that. Kids watch cartoons and Supergirl etc. Some of us watch this others record it. But remember the election when you rate. People don’t always tell the truth.
This is one of my favorite shows. I would follow this show is it goes to some other network and certainly prefer it to some of the other ABC dramas.
