Watch out, Rebecca. TVLine reports Gabrielle Ruiz will be a series regular on season two of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. 

On The CW series, Ruiz plays Valencia, the now ex-girlfriend of Rebecca Bunch’s (Rachel Bloom) love interest, Josh (Vincent Rodriguez III).

From Ruiz,

In the middle of shooting our first season, Rachel [Bloom] once told me on set that she was a little sad Rebecca’s and Valencia’s friendship was so short-lived. I could not agree more. I hope Rebecca and Valencia get another chance to make things work between them. I mean, they’re both now ex-girlfriends! Crazy or not, at least they now have something in common.”

Production has already begun for season two of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
