NBC is cleaning house on Sunday nights. They’ll surely cancel American Dream Builders, they’ve cancelled Believe and they’ve also cancelled Crisis as well.
An action/thriller series, Crisis finds out what might happen if the children of powerful people from Washington, DC were to be taken prisoner. The cast includes Dermot Mulroney, Rachael Taylor, Lance Gross, James Lafferty, Max Martini, Michael Beach, Stevie Lynn Jones, Halston Sage, Max Schneider, Joshua Erenberg, and Gillian Anderson.
Unfortunately, this show seemed doomed from the start. It debuted to lackluster ratings and the numbers sank lower and lower each week. At one point, Crisis drew just a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.73 million viewers.
On the upside, it seems likely that NBC will release of the remaining episodes. Eight of the 13 episodes have aired so far.
What do you think? Are you sorry that there won’t be a second season of Crisis or is one season the right amount? Should it have been cancelled?
Sad to see Crisis go. Good show!
NBC has not held my interest for years now.
Someone told me about this show, and I began to watch, and liked the familiar characters, as well as the storyline.
I am very disappointed that it is being cancelled, very.
The least they could have done was given it a less difficult time slot. Say, monday might and a bit earlier. Rather than find a niche, you get another show, and fill it with vulgarities, very sad.
My DVR is working every night recording all the shows especially in the fall. I noticed that Thursday night and Saturday nights there are not that many shows on, they could put Crisis in one of those time slots.
Very dissapointed to hear the show is being cancelled. I thought it was very exciting. I watched every episode.
SOOOO SAD! Don’t cancel…best show ever. It should go on!!!!!!!!
I look forward to watching this show every week. I like the players and
the plot. I hope that the show will continue. As many others I am tired of reality shows. Maybe if it was in a diffrent time slot it might have gotten a better audience. The writing was good, the idea was good but 10 pm on Sunday night not a good idea. Please don.t remove the show.
Susan
You can at least let us know what happens to the children. This is the reason why I do not watch nbc.
The writers should market it to CBS.
It will be a hit there, and take more market
share away from the piddling amount NBC
has left.
Very dissapointed by the decission to cancel the show. It should definitely go on.
I think the show deserved a legitimate chance.
YES, they should bring Crisis back for season 2 by just coming up with another crisis for Agents Dunn and Fenly to work on. This show kept you on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. Come on, NBC. Give it to CBS, they’ll run with it
Please do not cancel this show.
I watch it with my 16 and 18 year old grand children and we love the show.
We do not relate to a lot of TV shows but this one we enjoy it together.
I really hope that Crisis does not get cancelled. The Networks are cancelling great show and many of us don’t understand why. I hate reality shows. Never liked them, never will. Many of us will not watch much TV if the Networks keep doing this. We’ll all be watching shows, movies, etc. online/computer. I hope the Networks wake up and realize what they are doing and stop cancelling shows on their viewers. They won’t have many viewers left.
I really like this show. This has been a recurring problem over the years. The show I
like are always cancelled. Yet those silly comedys go on forever with dirty mouth actors.
love it. do not cancelled. very good drama series. leave it alone
Very disappointed in NBC’s decision to cancel. They finally pull me away from CBS only to disappoint as usual. Good writing, great acting, compelling story… But cancelled? Makes no sense.
If you miss any episode, it’s easy to be lost. If you missed the first- well, forget it! Also, the Feds found their hideout and when they release all the kids, how many more episodes could they drag out?
