Patrick Warburton’s last live-action sitcom, Rules of Engagement, had a long run on CBS. How will his new TV show, Crowded, perform in the ratings for NBC? Will it be a hit or a flop? Cancelled or renewed for a second season? Stay tuned.
On Crowded, Mike (Patrick Warburton) and Martina Moore (Carrie Preston) are finally reclaiming their wild side after 20 years of parenting. Their plans go awry when both of their two grown daughters — Shea (Miranda Cosgrove) and Stella (Mia Serafino) — and Mike’s parents, Bob (Stacy Keach) and Alice (Carlease Burke), unexpectedly move back in to the house.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/13 update: NBC has cancelled this series so there won’t be a second season. Details here.
5/23 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Crowded TV series? Should it be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Great show and great cast – seems to be building momentum as the season goes on. Deserves one more shot given no lead in and now competing with GoT.
Really like this show. How does the Network thing they can succeed with a weak lead in a weak time and a weak night for sitcoms.
Watched this week loved it. Went on demand watched the whole season. Good straight sitcom. How does the network want them to succeed with zero lead in and a terrible time and night.
Like the show, taped them and didn’t watch for a while but went back and started watching and am glad I did. Enjoyable
It gets better with each episode as has the editing and feel/flow of the show. I have laughed out loud many times and hope they give them one more season to put it all together! There is a really funning energy trying to get out and break through the roof! Love it!
I enjoy it enough, love the cast and guest stars so far.
Great show ,easy to relate to.
Weak…very weak. But very cutting edge for 1996.
Was great. Funny easy to watch. Love it. Cast is amazing. Good ratings for a zero lead in. If it aired after LBS the ratings would be better.
I made it to the opening credits and then stopped it, didn’t even laugh once. The show has a pretty good cast, but they deserve better.
Gosh I was ROFLMBO. Hilarious. Oh how I can relate! Awesome show. Please renew the show.
Sure hope it makes it! I loved it !
I thought this show was hilarious. I am glad that I DVR’ed it so I could watch it again with my wife. Please keep it going
Show is fresh and adorable. The cast’s delivery is terrific and the subtle humor is so enjoyable. Plus they’ve minimized the mind numbing “laugh track” of not funny shows like The Big Bang Theory” which counts on the Laugh Track to cover up a lack of humor. I will be so disappointed if Crowded fails and just concentrate on Cable shows like Shameless and drop network sitcom shows.
this show sounds like the millers
